Hari Dhillon is an actor in movies, on Television and in theatre. He’s best loved in the UK for playing the dishy doctor on long running television drama Holby City.

Here’s my chat with Hari where we don’t just explore his career, but much more than that, about his childhood and his important relationship with his dad.

Al and Dave have their own podcast (Lads, Dads and a Couple of Beers). 

I came across them and thought it was refreshing to hear a pair of blokes having a laugh, lots of banter and yet with an awareness and sensitivity towards mental health. We had a great chat about how they got into the podcast, their friendship, the way they balance each other out and the importance of being open about all the fears and anxieties we can face (whilst still being “proper geezers innit” !!)

If you haven’t heard of Sweet Bobby yet, where have you been? It’s a series about a young girl who gets cat-fished online! If you don’t know what cat-fishing is … don’t worry! You’re not alone! It’s when someone sets up a fake profile and messages others pretending to be someone else! But this series takes cat-fishing up to extraordinary levels! 

I listened to the whole series of Sweet Bobby in a week! I binged it and couldn’t get enough! It throws up so many questions which I discuss with Alexi in this chat! 

What’s next for the series? What happened to Simran? And could there be a “Sweet Bobby” Netflix series?

Sunny Dhinsey has grown on me in every way! You know when you meet someone and they’re understated and almost a bit quiet - but then they reveal a little more and you realize there’s loads going on, they’re super talented but they just don’t brag about it! That’s Sunny!

He’s a cool director who’s overseen film sets as well as top music videos! He’s made a film last year during the pandemic which featured real footage of the Indian farmers protest as its backdrop! I think he’s awesome and I want you all to meet him!

I don't mean to preach about the benefits of quitting alcohol and I want to make it clear that I am well aware that having a few drinks can make things a lot more fun...but...it's officially been two years since this Punjabi has been sharabi! 

And you know what, its weird! It still feels odd being in social situations without it! So I am not about to start banging on about why you should quit! You do what you want...but if you wanna hear how it came about for me and the effects of it, then hit play! 

Just me today...trying to share a little insight into something I am really proud of!

Nina Wadia is a mum, an actress, a comedian and an all-round brilliant British talent! 

Raised in India but now a Londoner, she made her name in the hit sketch show: Goodness Gracious Me but has gone on to star in Eastenders as well as big screen projects. 

After showing us her moves on the telly for Strictly Come Dancing, she raised a huge amount of money for her chosen charity on the Gary Linekar game show: Sitting On a Fortune.

So how does she do it? Be a mum, be a wife and navigate her way through show business! Clearly it’s not been easy and Nina is very open about that in this chat! 

We all face hurdles, obstacles and challenges - but Nina has achieved huge amounts of success and is still striving for more!

He’s worked with my wife after she had our second son and I’ve seen the way he trains others and himself to get results! He’s a good guy with a deep love of spirituality, positivity and mindfulness. His approach to physical well being is so intrinsically linked to mental health and so I wanted to get him on the podcast to help kick start anyone who needs it. 

We all find it hard beginning some level of exercise. I really don’t want my podcasts to be preachy … and Alton is far from that! He’s real, he gets the fact that we all find going to the gym tough but he’s got some great advice for those who want to break our of bad habits and know something has to change!
