Derek’s Helix band rig with IEMs (stab: 1981 DRV)
Using the sends and returns as inputs and outputs, I’m able to get click track, backing tracks, and a monitor mix in IEMs.
This allows to send Helix to the PA and lets the sound guy manage levels for monitoring just like with a floor wedge
Also can apply any blocks on my monitor feed if I want, like EQ, compression, etc.
DI box recommendations?
Gamechanger Audio Bigsby Pedal (Coppersound Tribblegraph)
Partnered with Fender and Bigsby
Bigsby vibrato pitch bending pedal with Bigsby hardware on the top.
Can do the subtle bigsby thing, but the DSP allows for more extreme Whammy style sounds too
