The Top 100 in 10 Golf Podcast

Ellis is the current Chesire U16 Champion (which he also won when he was 12!), The Royal Liverpool Golf Club U15 Champion, he's an England Regional squad player, Cheshire County U18 squad player (youngest to represent U18 at age 12), U16 County champion at age 14, U14 County champion at age 12, Faldo Series Grand Final Winner.

He has been on American Golf diversity TV adverts on Sky Sports, he's a Junior Ambassador for Foresight Sports - UpNext Program and he's also a Junior Ambassador for Capto Putting Technology!

Add to that, he's a very level-headed young man.

This is an episode we've been really looking forward to. A chance to speak to a real emerging talent in golf in the UK.

Ellis told us about his golfing journey so far, how he approaches the game, and the challenges he faces as he tries to carve out a career at the pinnacle of golf.

We discussed aspects like balancing his life at 15, training and help available to golfers his age, and what it's like being a member at a Top 100 golf course, Royal Liverpool (Hoylake)

This was a jam-packed episode and Ellis is really one to watch. Give him a follow on Instagram @elliscourtnellgolf

We're playing a pair competition at Ganton Golf Club in June, in this episode, we chat about comps in general.

They can sound intimidating for the casual, social golfer, but are they really?

Nish & Chris have a chat to find out.

And we're joined by Mark, a listener of the podcast, who reached out to us, and as we started chatting, we discovered we were playing at the same comp!

We had a great chat with him, talking all things Top 100!

We've had a great chat with Harbs from @harbs7golf about his experiences playing Golf in the UAE.

In what turned into a very insightful look into a different golf culture, we discussed how he got into the game, his earliest memories, and how the golfing landscape is developing in a part of the world where more tournaments and money is arriving by the day.

We also talked about how our lives are impacted by golf and what the next few years have in store for us.

Don't miss this cracking episode!

It's always one of the first questions to come up on any top 100 golf courses discussion... how do they compile the rankings? Here's your chance to find out...

We did the hard work and dug out the rating and golf course ranking system used by the official top 100 list we're using, and here it is, in all it's glory - for you to digest.

Of course, we take an irreverent look at it, and we also go on to discuss our own ranking "system" and the Dream 18 - our takeaway of the 18 best holes we play as we navigate our way to 100 golf courses in 10 years.

We also never realised how much innuendo we'd in our trawling of the official top 100 website! It's worth listening just to find that out

Brrrr... it's here... WINTER! How will we go about keeping everything progressing over these colder months. And we don't just mean the quest, but also our games.

We've started grappling with our respective golf games as we bed in the challenge to play the top 100 golf courses in 10 years. Maybe the scores are starting to matter a bit more.

In this episode, we chat about what we've booked next year, our experience of golf simulators, and check in with Chris about his progress with his golf lessons.
