Cannibalism exists in nearly every culture's darkest stories. But what happens when you stop treating it like a horror movie and start asking why human beings actually do it?

On Episode 178 of The TLB Podcast, James sits down with Nathalie and Jon Von Zelowitz, author and technical translator of I Ate His Heart, for a multidisciplinary examination of one of humanity's most disturbing behaviors: cannibalism.

Because understanding why someone commits a horrific act isn't the same thing as defending it. Sometimes understanding the pathway that produced the behavior is exactly what allows society to recognize it earlier.
