In thinking about Jesus being crucified on Good Friday I came up with eight reasons that the cross of Christ is very helpful to me in my mental health. I encourage you to listen and take these personally.

This tough question is answered with three important concepts: we are body, soul and spirit; we are in a spiritual battle; and Jesus is the healer and victor over our soul pain.

If we are motivated to receive peoples praise, we may be sliding into a behavior that’s offensive to God, namely idolatry.

At this time of the pandemic, many of us are struggling with bitterness. The model that we have learned from the Israelites can be helpful for us at this time. We need to keep our eyes on the cross.
