First, The plaintiff rented an apartment to the defendant and his girlfriend. The plaintiff claims the defendant owes three months of rent and utilities bills, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant insists the plaintiff used to be known as the “town drunk.” The defendant says the plaintiff forgave the rent because he was going through hard times.

Then, The plaintiff purchased a truck for her ex-girlfriend with the agreement that she’d make the payments. However, the plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to do so and racked up seven tickets, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant insists she gave back the truck and shouldn’t have to continue making the payments.
