Phil says: The CEO of Play Visions, Inc., Mark Chernick started the company in 1990 when he teamed up with two high school classmates. Their goal was to develop novelty and trend items that provided 'a little something extra.' Their line of products was an instant hit and Play Visions expanded quickly. Today Mark has a large stake in the popular compound and tactile category.
Join us today as Mark tells us his origin story - “Let’s make stickers”. He tells us about his product development philosophy and how a great material can lead to multiple successful items. He unpacks the culture of the compound creating chemists he works in Taiwan and China and walks us through the compound creation process.
