A yearner here.

A tempter there.

And a little band of those

Who wanted to prove that they were right.

"It has forsaken this place," he thought.

And he raised himself to leave.

And as he left, he heard the preacher say:

That "We are the only ones."

And the people all said "Amen."

Changing directions

This is a mostly true story that I wrote several years ago when asked "Why do you write?"

In today's episode, I give some thoughts about a movie I recently saw. It was The Old Man and the Sea with Anthony Quinn. The movie is based on the novel by Ernest Hemingway.
