I am Betty Irving—wife, mom, and business owner. I have been married for just over 10 years, and we have a 13-year-old son, who we adopted in 2013. I am the owner, designer, and creator of B&D’s Beaded Creations. We provide the everyday woman with custom, handmade jewelry for everyday wear or formal occasions. I began making jewelry as a hobby to pass the time of my position as a nanny. I found that I really enjoyed creating handmade pieces of jewelry, and I was really good at it. I started loving the thought of how life could be creating beautiful jewelry for women, making money while doing it, and being there for my son. And that is how B&D's Beaded Creations was birthed.

Yondel Gilfurt is a multi-passionpreneur and certified educator. She has a BA from Syracuse University in English and Secondary Education with a minor in Special Ed. Yondel managed Queens of Wigs an online wig store for ten years, where she created handmade custom wigs, ebooks, masterclasses, and hosted signature workshops. Additionally, Yondel is the creator of The Wig Making Made Easy DVD and has hosted a series of workshops on wig making.   

Today, she still consults female entrepreneurs in the start-up phase of their businesses, and she runs Mommy Slays a lifestyle blog that helps busy moms live a more fulfilled life. Mommy Slays was created shortly after Yondel was diagnosed with postpartum depression and she got tired of women feeling the need to suffer in silence due to societal stigmas. For this reason, she has built a sisterhood for moms filled with empowerment, accountability, and resources.  

Yondel has authored Painful Pills, a prequel on her challenging road to motherhood. She also creates journals, coloring books, and planners specifically for moms and hosts challenges all to help moms get back on track to finding themselves and live a more fulfilled life.
