On the night, the lineup featured Nu Spirit, Sharlz & Eddie, and myself closing with a two-hour set after Nu Spirit. This set includes a few iconic Trance anthems — one of which I hadn’t planned to play. A couple on the dancefloor requested it while Nu Spirit was on, and at first I told them I didn’t have it with me. But with 20 minutes to go before my set, I made a last-minute dash back to my hotel, loaded the track onto my USB, and sprinted back to the club — just in time to start my set. I didn’t let them know I’d gone to get it, so when I dropped it during the set, their reaction was priceless.

It was also the first time I’ve ever played this anthem at a TTE Live event.
