On the surface, the church at Ephesus seems to be the model church, working tirelessly for Christ's name.  Jesus commended them for their works, but there was one thing they were lacking.  If they did not repent, Jesus would remove His power and their witness.What does this mean to us?  Open your Bible to Revelation 2, and let's dig a little deeper!

In this session, we begin James 3.  If Jesus is Lord over your life, He is also Lord over your tongue!  James uses a bit and rudder to describe how our tongues have the power and influence to direct.  Will we direct positively or negatively?I am thankful for the commentary of Warren Wiersbe, who gives keen insight.

We are good to ask God to get us through a difficult time, but have we asked for God to make us strong with His power?  Through His power, we can defeat the desires of the flesh and empower us to reflect His character. Today, we will discover three things that happen when our inner being is strengthened with God's power through the Spirit.

The Bible clearly describes the Christian walk (behavior, attitude, and character) but are we living life to the full in Jesus Christ?  Thankfully, we have been given the Holy Spirit to work out Christ's fullness in us!  This message will look at the Fruit of the Spirit (not plural) and describe how it applies to the Christian walk.  Are you ready to dig a little deeper?
