In her first in depth audio interview, Esther tells them about the moment she learned her daughter had been murdered, how she has coped with the past 12 months and how she plans to mark the anniversary of Brianna’s death on Sunday.

She also speaks passionately about her determination to make positive change for children, by campaigning for new legislation around mobile phones and social media, and improving mental resilience with mindfulness teachers in schools.

Two high school pupils have been found guilty of murdering 16 year old Brianna Ghey.

The jury of seven men and five women took just 4 hours and 40 minutes to decide that the boy and girl - who cannot currently be named because of their ages - killed Brianna.

Even though it was impossible to be sure who had inflicted the final stab wound that ended her life, the jury found them to be jointly responsible.
