The Tribe Official Podcast

James joined The Tribe in Season 4 and made an immediate impact as the cool and level-headed Techno general, Jay, a character destined to play a big part in the future of the Mall Rats and the developments of Season 4, 5 and beyond (with the sequel novels).

As well as being a tremendous actor, James is also a talented writer, musician and director who has made some acclaimed work of his own projects.

James and Ray discuss the entertainment and motion picture industry, the Coronavirus situation at the time of recording, writing and all manner of subjects affecting real life.

The Tribe is of course a drama series set against a world that has been impacted by a virus pandemic, leaving the young people, teenagers and children left behind to build a new world, in a world without adults. It is also approximately the 20th year anniversary since The Tribe was first broadcast - and how ironic it is that many themes and elements in the series have resonated with the virus now affecting the real world in 2020.

As well as YouTube, episodes of The Tribe (and Cloud 9's other titles including 'Revelations - The Initial Journey' and 'Atlantis High') can now be watched on Amazon Prime Video in multiple countries around the world, Tubi, Pluto TV and in high quality in many countries on Cloud 9's Vimeo channel https://vimeo.com/cloud9screenent/vod_pages/page:3/sort:date with more ways to watch we hope coming soon.

Check out The Tribe's Official Podcast which can also be heard as an audio only version on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and other leading podcast providers (don't forget to subscribe, look up 'the tribe official' podcast! :) ).

So wherever you are - and to all fans of The Tribe, new and old, longtime and recent viewers who may have started watching or discovering - we hope you enjoy this podcast interview and what its participants are up to during this difficult time - as well as as the 'look back' on making The Tribe TV series.

A big thanks to James and Ray for taking part - and of course to you, the listener.

Keep safe,  keep strong and keep the dream alive.

Speaking from Australia where Laura is working on naturopathy, Laura talks about life in general, what she has been up to and her involvement in The Tribe TV series, where Laura first starred of course as the independent and streetsmart May in Season 2, appearing in all seasons that followed (and in the sequel books set after Season 5).

A fantastic actress, Laura also starred as the feisty and quirky Jet Marigold in Cloud 9's series 'Atlantis High' and with Tom Hern in Cloud 9's 'Revelations - The Initial Journey'.

Matt joined The Tribe in Season 5 and made an immediate impression as the enigmatic, very cool and intriguing bounty hunter, Slade, and his character's story was pivotal in that of the entire season.

Not only a fabulous actor, Matt is a talented voice over artist, loving father and family man and passionate musician who continues to record original music with his band in the UK.  He has also campaigned for those children and families touched by Autism.  His wide-ranging and poignant, personal discussion with Ray covers all these subjects, as well as The Tribe, life in general and of course the current COVID-19 Coronavirus situation at the time of recording.

Thank you, Matt and Ray, for taking part (and to you, as well, the listener).

Victoria first appeared in Cloud 9's series 'William Shatner's A Twist in the Tale' where she acted with the iconic acting legend - and afterwards she played an iconic character herself by bringing Salene to life in all 5 seasons of The Tribe, compellingly portraying the inner conflicts and struggles of Salene in the post-apocalyptic world without adults.

Victoria also starred in Cloud 9's 'Atlantis High' series as the enigmatic Anthony and Antonia.

First appearing in Season 3 of The Tribe, Pride made an immediate impression not only on Amber and the other Mall Rats but also the viewers, quickly becoming one of the most popular characters in the series and in Seasons 4 and 5 that followed.  Nick brought Pride to life in all his multiple dimensions - from a principled eco-warrior and environmentalist who cared about the world to someone who also had challenges on the romantic front and with his inner struggles.

As well as YouTube, episodes of The Tribe (and Cloud 9's other titles) can now be watched on Amazon Prime in over 60 English speaking countries around the world (also some seasons in Germany), Tubi, Pluto.TV and in high quality in many countries on Cloud 9's Vimeo channel https://vimeo.com/cloud9screenent/vod_pages/ with more ways to watch we hope coming soon.
