Happy new year everyone! new year new season same old show, this week we go through everything that is coming out in 2022, which it turns out to be quite a bit. This episode will be a two parter.

We also do the normal thing where we catch up with each other, and eric tells us about his final fantasy 14 travels.

This is the last episode of season 1! Partially because its the last episode of the year, and partially because I lost track of what the actual episode number was.

with a new year comes growth and better organization.

Well anyway, Eric and I talk about over saturation in the videogame market and how a lot of great games died unceremonious deaths due to corporate greed.

Happy anniversary Final Fantasy! This year, to celebrate your birthday, I introduced my mom to the series via Final Fantasy X. After 5 short months of hard work and called in favors she beat it on December 18th 2021. The same date final fantasy 1 was released. We didn't plan it this way so it must have been fate.  We spend the better part of the hour talking about the ending of final fantasy X but also just kind of getting philosophical about endings in general. I hope you enjoyed this ride, there is more to come after a short rest.  We will be back next week with a normal episode to wrap up the year!

This episode is a doozy, and hopefully you don't mind the sound of my voice because I do a lot of talking here. Eric took the week off because of final fantasy 14, so I took it upon myself to record a solo episode. I go through every game that was released in 2021 and give my two cents on each title, I blaze through most, but boy, do I take a lot of pitstop along the way.
