  • Northern Hydration: Canada's Best Hydration Drink!

It's our FIRST GUEST EPISODE of the season as Dalton and Connor sit down with Alex and Sebastian, the founders behind Northern Hydration.

Filmed on location at Caledon Hills Brewery, this conversation blends entrepreneurship, family legacy, and the value of continuous growth and human impact!

The guys dive into the origins of Northern Hydration, starting with a family deeply rooted in the brewing world. With a father who spent decades building breweries and mastering the craft of beer, Alex and Sebastian grew up immersed in the beverage industry with Caledon Hills Brewing, which led them to their new creative endeavor the first canned and truly Canadian hydration drink, Northern Hydration.

What started as a personal need for better hydration evolved into creating a product that fits naturally into any active lifestyle and actually delivers on quality and proper fueling. Loaded with 1,300mg of electrolytes, Northern Hydration is a perfect beverage for not only athletes, but for the everyday active human who wants to feel fueled and perform at their best!

It has ZERO sugar ✅ ZERO calories✅ and tons of flavour! Throughout the episode, the group talks about the value of continuous growth and what it actually takes to build a brand in the modern beverage space.

As always, the conversation moves between laughs, stories, and real insights into building something you believe in. It’s a conversation about creativity, teamwork, and chasing ideas that turn into something bigger than you expected. We have been huge fans of this product for a very long time, and getting the opportunity to meet the creators and hear their story was truly inspiring!

  • BROMANCE: Boy Dinner, First Crushes & Dalton’s Relationship Status

Episode 3 is officially a Bromance!

Dalton and Connor get suited up for boy dinner and a conversation all about friendship, loyalty, and why bros should actually tell their bros how they feel.

From there, the nostalgia kicks in. First kisses, Valentine’s Day in grade school when everyone waited to see what got written on their cards, high school compatibility tests, and the awkward early days of romance. The boys also get into meeting the parents, how they really feel about Valentine’s Day now, and Dalton shares an update on his relationship status.

At its core, this episode is about being able to have vulnerable conversations with your friends, showing up for each other through every phase of life, and not being afraid to say what matters. It all wraps with a surprise reveal you won’t see coming.

Fun, honest, and full bromance energy!

  • Crash Out: When emotions spill over, so does the truth

In Episode 2 The boys are coming in hot! Jokes are flying and everyone's running on way too much caffeine after Dalton forgets the Northern Hydration. So it’s straight coffee and chaos

But underneath the jokes, emotions are high. Connor has been dealing with some news around the health of people he loves, and it sparks a real conversation about why eating well, exercising, and taking care of yourself actually matters. Things escalate, feelings spill over, and Connor steps away from the set for a bit, leading to a raw, loving moment between two friends who genuinely care.

Part 2 picks up a week later, Connor has gone home, had some meaningful conversations with his family, and sat with what those emotions were really about. Together, Dalton and Connor reflect on anger, communication, and how frustration is often just love with nowhere to go. You can’t stop caring about the people you love, and you can’t control their choices- all you can do is show up, support, and love them through it.

This episode is messy, honest, and full-circle. A real look at emotions, friendship, and what it means to show up for the people who matter most.

  • Birthday: How to age with excitement rather than with regret

Season 2 of The True Potential Podcast kicks off on Connor’s birthday, which felt like the perfect moment to talk about aging, staying in the present and how to actually enjoy the inevitable passage of time.

Dalton and Connor start by reminiscing on past birthdays, including some questionable and outlandish university-era celebrations (you’ve been warned). From there, the conversation turns deeper, exploring how being intentional with your time allows you to age peacefully, without regret or constant “what ifs.”

We dive into trusting your gut over your ego, acting from the neck down instead of the head up, and why letting go of control often creates more alignment than trying to force outcomes. It’s about showing up, staying purposeful, and letting the day and the world meet you where you are.

This episode sets the tone for Season 2: honest, reflective, fun, and grounded in becoming and being excited about what’s ahead.

  • Festive: A Christmas Special straight out of Santa's Sack!

The True Potential Podcast season finale is here, and we are wrapping up with a Christmas special!

We were festive from top to bottom! We decorated the dog, Connor took on the Santa duties, while Dalton showed up as an elf, and all the questions came straight from Santa’s sack.

We dove into our favourite Christmas movies, elite gifts, holiday traditions, and the desserts that really matter. Along the way, we laughed a lot, shared some questionable takes, and reminisced about the year that was.

To close things out, we zoomed out a bit, talking about family, friendships, and building a life you actually enjoy. Not feeling behind. Trusting your pace. Putting in the work and letting the right things fall into place with the right people around you.

This was a fun, festive, and meaningful way to wrap the season. Thanks for riding with us. We’ll see you in the New Year for Season 2!

  • Intention: Why resolutions should guide not demotivate and how to balance your goal setting energy

We made it to 10 Episodes! What a year 2025 has been!

Episode 10 is all about wrapping up the year with intention instead of intensity. In this episode, Dalton and Connor reflect on the year that was, what we accomplished and what mattered most.

Our biggest realization was how important it is not measure accomplishment by just outcomes but on the entire journey and appreciate everything gained within that.

The boys have a lot of fun in this episode testing out a few new pod segments (including what’s the last thing you asked ChatGPT), they spiral into a surprisingly deep rom-com discussion, and then zoom out to the bigger stuff like why values are essential for happiness, how they can act as a framework for decision-making, and how the words you use to narrate your life shape your reality.

They also break down friction vs. conflict, why not every hard moment is “suffering,” and how reframing tough situations can change everything. As always, there’s plenty of laughter, jokes, and honest reflection along the way.

This one’s thoughtful, light, grounding, and a perfect listen as you close out the year and look ahead to 2026 with clarity.

    Enjoy!

But this conversation goes way beyond the gym.

  • Marathon: Why big goals take time, and how to enjoy the ride while you pursue them!

In episode 9 of The True Potential Podcast, Dalton and Connor tackle playoff football, the Blue Jays’ heartbreaking Game 7 World Series loss and solo pursuits like Dalton’s marathon run.

The deep dive in this one is all about seeing life as an infinite game, a journey without a finish line. When you approach it that way, every challenge, win, and setback becomes part of a much bigger story.

It’s less about chasing outcomes and more about being fully present for every moment the wins, the heartbreaks, and everything in between.

Enjoy all the pieces as they come, let go of what you can’t control, and move forward with gratitude and curiosity.

In the end, it’s not about holding on to every result; it’s about staying open to whatever’s next.
