Sometimes in life we carry things that were given to us as a child or as a teenager that we were not meant to carry. Those things define us for years of our life. It’s time to look at those areas that you have aloud to define you and ask God to give you strength in those areas. God has a greater purpose in your life and often times it’s the very thing that we define as a weakness that he is trying to use as our purpose. He’s waiting for you to address these weaknesses and embrace his strength so that he can heal you and make you whole. Those things are not meant to define you they were meant to elevate you into your purpose.

Have you been asking God for something and you’ve convinced yourself that it’s not going to happen? Have you considered quitting because it’s too hard? Today I want to tell you it’s time to reconsider. It’s time to think about why you started. It’s time to address those things that you have been holding onto for so long so that you can free up some space for God to bless you. It’s time to reconsider!

Over the last five days I have been participating in a purpose challenge and have discovered so many things about myself. This podcast is a podcast of transparency and full vulnerability. I have discovered that it’s not my lack of faith that is keeping me from purpose but a lack of love. I have allowed the fear to overpower me oh wow busying myself with things that are not directly related to walking in my purpose. Do you have a love problem?

Sometimes we find ourselves operating out of purpose because we have placed our identity in other people and other things. God‘s purpose for your life should never feel forced or like you are pouring from an empty cup. We can’t withdraw money from a negative bank account just like we cannot pour into others if we are operating out of the negative. Today I encourage you to look at the things in which you have placed your identity in. Does your life feel like it’s forced every day? If so reassess those things in which your identity has been established in. Ask God for clarity because he’s going to give it to you.

Do you ever find yourself in a season of frustration? You’re trying to achieve all the things through your own will. We get distracted and begin to get spiritually deaf to what God is trying to do and say in our lives. It’s time to get back into that quiet place. A place of peace, joy, understanding and healing. He’s already placed the promise on your life. But as long as we are unwilling to hear what the Lord is trying to say because we are so busy in our world of noise, we will find ourselves frustrated. Go back into that quiet place and surrender the frustrations in your heart back to God so that he can move you to your next big thing.

Have you ever wondered how your past relates to your purpose? Sometimes we get caught up in the trials and tribulations of life and we don’t see how our past is the very power that’s going to help us step in to what God has called us for. It’s important that we do the inner child work and also the future self work. Today I’m sharing with you both my letter to my inner child and the letter to my future self. Get ready for the tears!

Sometimes we question the things that we go through in our lives. We often times think that Satan is trying to attack us or keep us in bondage. The reality is that God is only trying to bring us to new places and give us a spiritual self-awareness. Just like Job in the Bible is very relatable to a lot of our lives because we feel as if we’re enduring such hard things. But if we dialogue with God every day and ask him to search us for the things that we still need to work on and intern look into those things and begin to genuinely work on them. God is going to bring us into a season just like he did Job where everything we went through we will receive great reward because we genuinely and authentically addressed the things in which God was showing us in the season of enduring and growth.

You have the access to God you have been longing for! There is still healing to be done! But what is God showing us that we still need to work on from within?

I want to talk about the Hagar in all of us. When we started in the wilderness, but where we are now! Sometimes we think that God doesn’t see us or hear us in a particular season in our lives. But know that he is with you even in the days of the wilderness. He is present! He loves you! He knows your needs! And he is faithful!

Sometimes we go through hard things, trials and tribulations in our life and we begin to identify ourselves from a past season. Can I tell you that God is trying to expand your capacity. He is trying to take you to new levels! Although you may feel like you’re in a wilderness season you are just in a season of expansion and growth. Stop identifying yourself from a past season and start speaking expansion into your life. Your promise land is on the other side of that breakthrough. Start expanding your mind! Start speaking life into your purpose!
