Writing her way through life with a mental illness became her way of healing, and her award-winning blog BipolarMomLife became an inspiration to many. These innovative programs have proven to be highly successful for thousands of participants and have garnered numerous regional and national awards and extensive media coverage. Sports Plus was also named a national demonstration program for innovative and best practices in the field of autism instruction by the Aspen Institute. Natalie oversees all of Sports Plus’ day to day operations as its Operations Director. Tom is attorney and serves as the Executive Director of Sports Plus. Tom is also the Director of Specialized Employment at the Jewish Social Services Agency (JSSA) serving metropolitan Washington DC. In that role, he has achieved six consecutive years of record placement results, across wide sectors of the economy including IT, biotech and professional settings.
