Tracy’s expertise is in the field of accounting and tax, with more than two decades of experience as an international tax specialist in both the public and private sectors. A licensed CPA with a master’s degree in taxation, prior to founding Icing Smiles, her experience in the baking industry was limited to watching the TV challenges and absorbing as many techniques as possible to create cakes for her two children. Little did she know that Icing Smiles would be embraced by the baking community on an international level, and she would find herself in the most challenging role of her career.Tracy is mom to Emily (18) and Justin (16). In addition to Icing Smiles, she also works as a Senior International Tax Manager for Echostar Corporation in Germantown, MD. She credits her ability to “juggle” her passion and her profession to the talented team at Icing Smiles, a partner who has embraced this insane journey and kids who fully understand the value of serving others….and to the belief that where God guides, God provides.
