Good People,
This week I wanted to share a conversation I had on Dr. Wayne Pernell’s show One Sharp Sword.
On this episode, I take you through my own journey – some of which may sound familiar if you’ve been listening in for a while. I talk about what my childhood was like and about some of the physical abuse I went through, and how that led me to attract abusive relationships as an adult. I tell the story of my tipping point, which was when I contracted hepatitis and needed to commit to taking care of myself to live.
As we go on, I talk about my work, how I’m transitioning out of medicine, and why I want to do more film and creative work.
Lastly, however, Dr. Wayne Pernell and I discuss the power of anger and why it’s not always a bad thing. The truth is, when anger is properly utilized, it can be a great tool.
So sit back, relax, and take a listen. I’ll see you in the next one.
Some Questions I’m Asked:
- What turned your life around? (4:57)
- How did you recover from hepatitis? (10:43)
- What are you doing now with your life? (20:32)
- What’s your next big action step? (34:46)
In This Episode, You Will Learn:
- The truth that set me free. (8:17)
- How life taught me patience. (13:59)
- What acting school and writing films taught me. (23:09)
