  • EP: 41: Russia Vs Ukraine, Putin’s war, The First Months, The Rus Empire And The Richest Man In The World, Pt: 1

    This is episode 41 of The Truth Tank


    This episode will kick off another multipart series, looking at Russia’s war against Ukraine. From the beginning of the war on the 20th of February 2014 with the annexing of the Crimea, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine on the 24th February 2022, setting off a chain reaction of outrage around the world. How could injustice like this happen in the modern day?


    We will be looking at some of the key events that have happened in past several months as well as what some predictions and consequences might be. Could it lead to another world war or even worse a nuclear war?We will then look at Putin’s delusional claims that Ukraine is apart of Russia, by having an in depth look at the Russ Empire, which both Ukraine and Russia can both trace back to a common ancestry.


    The Rus Empire & Rus Dynasty was founded by Rurik which lead to the formation of the Kievan Rus state, which flourished under Prince Oleg  after Rurik’s death in the late 8th century. We will round out this episode by having a deep dive into Putin’s wealth to see if the rumours are true, Could be one of the richest men to have ever lived? Does he have a 200 billion dollar fortune? How did he acquire it? There are 3 main theories finance experts believe could explain how Mr. Putin could have allegedly amassed a fortune that would make Elon and Bezos blush.

    This is episode 40 of The Truth Tank. 
    This is the Third and Final part of our Epic In Depth review and recap of Jurassic World: Dominion and Top Gun: Maverick. This episode, rounds up the review of Jurassic World: Dominion looking at the conclusion of the film, and how it compares to the previous Jurassic films; Does it leave the door open for another sequel or spin off?, Are there any new Dinosaurs?, Do the two trilogies cross over?, Who makes it out?, Does it live up to exception or Does it fall short? and finally What it means for the bigger Jurassic Park universe.
    Part Three will also discuss a few articles on Colin Trevorrow’s vision for Jurassic World: Dominion and the wider JW Franchise, as well as key plot points and characters, bringing back the original characters, taking the Dinosaurs off the island and into the world and what that means for the story going forward, and of course the backlash and criticism the film and Director have received from fans and film critics alike.
    To finish off the Three Part Series, we will have a look at Top Gun: Maverick; the long awaited sequel to The 1986 action icon Top Gun. Why did Top Gun: Maverick work so well, when so many modern day blockbusters and sequels fail?, What sets it apart?, Is it due to Tom Cruise doing what he does best? Or due to VFX and green screen being kept to a minimum and making a film how they use to be made, not pandering to the PC squad? or Is it simply a great story told right?

    This is episode 39 of The Truth Tank
    On this episode, We will be continuing our in depth review and recap of Jurassic World: Dominion and Top Gun: Maverick. Jurassic World: Dominion is the third and final instalment of the Jurassic World trilogy, how does the third film compare with the previous two?, does it round out the trilogy? are there to many Dinosaurs for one film? This episode will be focusing on Jurassic World: Dominion, spoiler alert key plot points, charters and Dinosaurs will be looked at at in depth. 
    As well as some of the major and minor sub plots of Jurassic World: Dominion, that are the cause of most of the issues/problems with the script and film. Jurassic World: Dominion also brings back some of the old characters from the original Jurassic Park, crossing over both Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchises. Are the return of Dr. Alan, Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Ian Malcom enough to smooth out what has been so far a pretty uneven trilogy.

  • Ep: 38: Jurassic World Dominion Vs Top Gun Maverick: Battle Of The Modern Day Blockbusters Part: 1
    This is episode 38 of The Truth Tank
    On this episode, We will be looking at one of the biggest film franchises in history Jurassic Park/Jurassic World. Most of us have probably seen or at least heard of the original Jurassic Park, who could forget Steven Spielberg’s Dinosaur classic where modern technology brings back to life creatures from the past. The original spawned two sequels, endless toys, games, Universal theme park rides, and one liners, eventually leading to the 2015 half sequel/spin off/new franchise Jurassic World.
    This brings us to part 1 of this series comparing two modern day blockbuster franchises Jurassic World and Top Gun: Maverick.    Jurassic World was directed and co written by Colin Trevorrow, a relatively unknown film maker at the time. Which brings up the questions How did a inexperienced director get to helm one of the biggest film franchise of all time?, What struggles/challenges did he face because of this lack of experience? and How was this overcome?
    We will also look at Jurassic World and some of the ideas that were explored, Jurassic World’s 2018 sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom before doing a very detailed and deep dive and review of 2022 Jurassic World: Dominion.

    This is episode 34 of The Truth Tank.

    In this episode, We will be looking at the life and career of the oldest man to have ever played in the NFL, The Legendary George Blanda. The years George Bland played will be broken down and looked at along with some of the impressive stats he puts up throughout the seasons.  

    A career spanning over 4 seperate decades; 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s, playing for teams which include The Chicago Bears, The Houston Oilers and The Oakland Raiders. Retiring at the ripe old age of 48, with a total of 26 seasons and multiple records under his belt, that still to this day are unmatched. George Blanda is only one of few players to not only play in the NFL but as well as the breakaway league, The AFL. Coached by some of the best and most iconic coaches; Bear Bryant, Pop Ivy, The GOAT himself, John Madden and the owner and coach of the Raiders, Al Davis.

  • EP 33: A History Of Bioweapons The 1900s, WW1, The German Sabotage Network & The True Tale Of Anton Dilger: Part 3

    This is episode 33 of The Truth Tank.

    On this episode, We will be continuing our epic look into the Dark and Murky World of Bioweapons. It is now the 1900s and The Biological Warfare is becoming increasingly more advanced. The Worlds Leaders are able invest more time and resources into the research in finding new ways of spreading potential pathogens and how they can be used to kill one another. With the Advancements in Microbiology, it has made it easier to pick and choose which pathogens and how they can be  to be used during war. 

    During the early 20th century, the Worlds Leaders met for a series of talks which outlined the acceptable use of weapons and conduct in Modern Warfare. Bioweapons and other forms of Warfare that are considered inhumane are outlined in the Hague & Geneva conventions, that was until the outbreak of World War 1.

    Germany lead the way in Modern Biological Warfare use in the 20th Century. World War 1 provided the perfect cover and The German War Department were able to hatch a diabolical plan to covertly attack the Neutral United States. Anton Dilger, A German-American Physician with a Degree in Microbiology, unleashed a devastating strike against Horses, Donkeys & Mules, infecting them with Dilger’s Bio-Agents while waiting to be transported from depots and ports of the Eastern US to the battlefields of Europe. 

    The US produced munitions and sent out supples for Britain and the Allies. All the while Dilger and German agents wrecked havoc on dockyards up and down the East Coast in what would become the first major act of Terrorism in the US. An Irish-American Cop by the name of Tom Tunney and his Bomb Squad turned the tide in this cat and mouse game of sabotage.

  • EP 32: A History Of Bioweapons: The 1800s, The American Civil War & The Yellow Fever Plot: Part 2

    This is episode 32 of The Truth Tank.

    On this episode we will be continuing our deep dive into the world of Bioweapons. It is now the 1800’s, and besides the accidental spreading of diseases between Polynesian and Pacific Islander cultures through contact with Europeans, the 19th century was pretty quiet on the Bioweapon front until a history defining conflict towards the later part of the century and that was The American Civil War. 

    The use of Biological components in warfare was rampant in during The Civil War, both the North and the South used Bioweapons against one another in the hopes that germs and diseases would give them the advantage over the enemy. We will look at how both the North and South used differing and cunning strategies to turn the tide of the war.

    The North restricted the Souths access to medical supplies through the Union Blockade aka the Anaconda Plan. While The South Tried to spread disease to the North in the diabolical Yellow Fever Plot masterminded by the brilliant but mad Dr. Blackburn. Also looked at will be the restriction of the life saving medication Quinine and how the South struggled to find a substitute when supplies run low due to the Unions Blockade of the South.
