In this powerful and honest conversation, my good friend Anna opens up about her experience growing up in “The Truth” — also known as the 2x2 cult or “The Way.” With no official church buildings, Sunday services held in homes, and a tight-knit community that calls itself simply “The Truth,” this group operates largely under the radar.Anna shares what life was really like inside the cult — the rules, the control, the isolation, and the deep indoctrination she experienced from childhood. She talks about the moment she started questioning “The Truth,” the painful process of deconstructing her faith, and the courage it took to finally walk away.We also dive into her faith journey after leaving, the challenges of rebuilding her life outside the cult, and what healing and freedom look like on the other side. This is a raw, hopeful, and eye-opening story of leaving behind everything you’ve ever known — and finding yourself again. If you or someone you know has been impacted by high-control groups, religious trauma, or cult-like environments, this episode is for you.
Voice, music, healing, journey of self, and self love.
Voice is a beautiful tool for singing, but it is most definitely useful for calming, grounding, presence, relaxation, softness, meeting and breaking internal limits and boundaries, some silliness, having fun in your life, and for inner peace.
Voice, music, and rhythm are part of my daily life.
And healing, growth, the journey of self is a path that I proudly take.

Guest Bio:
Known as “A”, the antiMLM kid was raised in the ultimate commercial cult - Amway. She now creates content rooted in lived experience inside the Amway culture. Her work focuses on the systematic indoctrination baked into the organization, how grooming and boundary violations are normalized, and why people are trained to override their own discomfort in the name of faith, family, and “opportunity.” She also examines the overlap between Amway ideology and Christian nationalism, helping people see how religious language and moral framing are used to enforce loyalty and shut down critical thought. She frames antiMLM work as an act of protest, pointing out how wealth generated through MLMs is often funneled into conservative causes and think tanks, which ultimately effect us all. Through her platform, she helps people put words to what never sat right, recognize coercive patterns for what they are, and begin untangling from systems that taught them not to question.

This episode of The Truth That Heals features author Angela Legh, who emphasizes the vital importance of processing emotions rather than repressing them to prevent long-term physical and mental health issues (0:00-0:50, 7:46-8:11). She introduces her "Feel, Name, Allow" method as a practical tool for managing feelings in real-time, explaining that emotions only last about 90 seconds biologically when not prolonged by our thoughts (17:47-19:31). Additionally, Angela discusses her mission to help parents and teachers raise emotionally resilient children, notably through her Bella Santini Chronicles book series, which teaches emotional awareness in an engaging, accessible way for young readers (12:43-16:50).
