In life we often run into difficulties. Having people around you who you can rely on for support is so important. Often the best to have people around you are your friends. Knowing that you have someone in your life who cares for you, loves you and wants to be there, makes all the difference. Sharing history together and being there to support one and other is what true friendship is all about.
In the Datto we are joined by John. In his life John has been through some of life's toughest challenges. Thankfully for John he had the support of his friends who helped support him through the challenges, and guide him to the other side.

The new normal is a testing time for all of us. Living life under the threat of the current Covid-19 situation is more than most of us can withstand. For many people their lives have been turned upside down and coping with the circumstances as they are, is their only choice. Learning how to be okay when your not, is something that most people have never been taught how to do.
Joining us in the Datto is Jessica. A person's who's life has been impacted significantly by the current Covid-19 situation. Jessica has spent her entire life caring and supporting those people in need. The challenge for Jessica now becomes, who helps the helper.

The most difficult time a child can face in life is when their parents separate. For children in that situation feeling out of control and being stuck between two people they love is overwhelming. When parents can't maintain their composer towards each other it can put even more pressure on the children involved.
Today in the Datto we are joined by Olivia. A young lady who was stuck in the middle of her parents separation. Feeling overwhelmed and confused Olivia was forced to deal with emotions which were far beyond her years.

Being an 18-year-old is a tough time in life. Learning how to become an adult, without the right life skills is a difficult lesson to learn. As parents we often want to shield our kids from life and protect them from the world. The problem is once our kids become adults; they don’t understand the impact their decisions can have on their entire life, without the right background.
Today in the Datto we are joined by Tanner. A person whose life was shaped at an early age by a life-threatening illness. Growing up in the school of hard knocks has given this young man wisdom beyond his years.

The death of a child is every parents single worse nightmare. Living with the pain and suffering that comes from the death of a child is more than most parents are able to tolerate. Often is the case that families are torn apart and moving on is something that can take parents a life time to do. Learning how to live life without your child is a constant struggle.
In the Datto we a joined by Sue. A person who's life was torn apart through the death of her son to cancer. As a heartbroken parent Sue turned the tragedy of the death of her son into a legacy of significant magnitude.

Loyalty as a personal quality is something that people value. In life we experience tests of the strength of our loyalty, remaining committed can become a difficult thing to maintain. When we look back on our lives some of the greatest things we have accomplished have occurred as a result of our ability to remain loyal.
In the Datto we are joined by Adrian a person who's loyalty has seen him achieve great happiness in his life. While it wasn't always an easy thing to maintain, Adrian's life has been enriched by his loyalty to something bigger than just himself.

Doing what is best for yourself in life is often a difficult thing to do. Looking after your own needs is often seen as selfish by other people. As a result we set aside our own needs in order to keep the people around us happy. In doing what other people want we end up feeling angry and upset. Having the courage to put yourself first is never easy to achieve.
In the Datto we are joined by Donna. In her life Donna was forced to set aside her fears and anxieties in order to look after her own needs. Taking care of her son and herself came at a great cost.

Success and happiness in life, for some people, is all about having the courage to set a goal & following a process until they achieve their dreams. Many people believe that unless you are achieving your goals and living life to the fullest, you are not living your best life. We often get so caught up in trying to achieve happiness, that we lose sight of the dangers around us.
In the Datto today we are joined by a young man named Tony who set his sights on reaching the top of his chosen sport, The National Rugby League (NRL). Tony spent his whole life with one focus, and one focus only. While he was able to achieve his ultimate goal, his life was soon to be turned upside down. Tony found out the hard way the price you pay when there is no Plan B in your life.

Becoming a Dad doesn't come with an instruction manual. For most men it's about learning on the job. The challenge of being a Dad is all about understanding how to balance the needs of family, work, as well as themselves. Unfortunately for most Dad's they never actually open up and discuss the issues surrounding fatherhood. This often causes further distress which makes fatherhood seem even more overwhelming.
In the Datto we are joined by Joel's own Dad, David. He learnt the hard way about the pitfalls and issues which come with learning how to be a father, without an instruction manual. David also shares a little history about how he managed to "Sell" the Datto to his unsuspecting 17 year old son.
