After the Braves made light work of the Cincinnati Reds, sweeping them in their best of three Wild Card series, they have found out who they are playing in the next round. They are going to face the Bottom Feeder Miami Marlins after they ousted the Chicago Cubs.
The Braves took care of the Reds easily due to the pitching by Max Fried and Ian Anderson. Joe Patrick, 92.9 The Game Braves Insider, joins Sam and Greg to talk about the playoff series against the Bottom Feeders of Dade County.
Sam talked about the great pitching by Fried and Anderson and wondered would that be enough in a best of five series against the Marlins.
Joe said that the Braves should feel confident going into the series knowing that they have the best two pitchers but there are still questions. The third starter has been named, which is Kyle Wright. There are questions about Wright going into his first start in the playoffs, like Ian Anderson and Max Fired for that matter. Joe said that the Reds series has quieted any doubts about Fried, a Cy Young candidate, and Anderson. We knew Fried was a stud, but Anderson is a great surprise, as he is playing like a calm vet the mere age of twenty-one.
