Dr. Sheahen discusses the work of ITEST in advancing the understanding of St. Augustine that the God of Nature and the God of Scripture are the same God, so the two fields of study, when properly understood, are shown to be complementary of one another rather than in conflict with one another. Aired on May 31, 2018.

Dr. Sheahen holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and served for several years on the faculty of Holy Apostles teaching a course with theologian Sr. Carla Mae Streeter, OP, on Science and Theology. ​Several members of the ITEST board continue to teach about the relationship between faith and science within the Apologetics concentration in the MA in Theology program, including Dr. Sebastian Mahfood, OP, Rev. Dr. Don Sparling, and Dr. Stacy Trasancos.
