- Alberta, Canada – March 2023 and still burning. 17 new fires already this year (2024).
Athens, Greece – July 2023Lahaina, Maui – August 8-11, 2023Tenerife, Spain – August 2023Via Carlos Paz, Argentina – October 2023Buenos Aires, Argentina – January 2024Vina del Mar, Chile – Feb 2-5, 2024Canadian, Texas – March 2024Usually, it takes two or three months to completely extinguish a large wildfire if there is rain and humidity, yet Canada has had the worst of it with over 100 fires still lingering.
