Even if you're not a hunter. Even if you've never really thought about ducks and our ecosystem. Even if you think it doesn't really impact you- you'd be wrong. Ducks Unlimited has spent more than $100 million in Texas to conserve, restore, and manage wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl.

These habitats don't only benefit the birds, they also benefit other wildlife and people too! Waterfowl conservation is facing important challenges as wetlands and other habitats are being degraded and destroyed across the continent.

With the help of Texans, Ducks Unlimited has been able to make sure waterfowl continue to have a safe place to call home. In this podcast, Jason McKey explains the number one reason he's so passionate about preserving our land in Texas, what it means for our future and how you can help.

All laughs on this edition of The Ultimate Texas Podcast with guest Brent McLennan of the Broken Spokes. Brent and the guys discuss the hills and valley of his music career, life lessons, boots and business.
