Search my heart OH GOD! He did. And offense was only the beginning. Had I not walked through freedom from offense, God couldnt have done what He is doing now in my life and my marriage.

David lost everything. David was defeated. But the bible tells us He was called to fight for his marriage and family. The bible tells us in Lamentation 3:20-23 Dare to hope. My marriage under fire right now but I dare to hope. I will walk through darkness to win back my marriage and all that's been lost and enter into a life of freedom and abundance.

Masks. We use them often to protect ourselves. Even with our spouses. And it's a constant practice of taking them off and leaving them off but even we have been tempted to put them back on. How to take them off and why... take a listen.

Quarantined in the same house, yet feeling a million miles apart. We've been there. The last couple of weeks have given us a realize ation that we have been disconnected; like ships in the night, passing by eachother silently, focused on our individual tradjectory as opposed to sailing together. We are back on track. You can be too.

This couple has been going through quite the time of uncertainty and unrest. Just like the rest of the world we are dealing with quarantine and corona virus but then this week we had the added anxiety of earthquakes and aftershocks. Not to mention learning to homeschool our children! These situations have certainly brought opportunity for offense for this wife. But how are we as unoffended wives going to rise to the occasion, and use the time of uncertainty to be resilient and condemn the enemy from taking root in our marriages.

In my last episode I talked about listening and obeying the Lord and I had a question come up from a listener about how to hear God's voice ; how to discern the Holy Spirit speaking to you versus the devil or yourself. So I break that open today and bring to you something that I feel is truly from the Lord.

Listening to God's voice takes recognition and recognition takes practice. Obeying God's voice takes obedience and obedience demands action. Once we become familiar with both, our marriages have the opportunity to thrive in areas we didnt even think were possible.
