Here’s a little check-in to go over some of the heavy-hitting topics of the past week, including investigative articles about Steve Bannon, Leslie Wexner, Mark Epstein, and the mysterious and very quiet death of Ivana Trump. And of course what links them all together: Epstein, Epstein, Epstein. I also cover a bit of the martial law fiasco in Washington DC this week, and what’s legal, and what doesn’t actually exist on paper.

I had the pleasure of spending Tuesday evening in New York with Don Lemon and Jasmine Crockett, as well as DL Hughley, talking politics, dishing on Marjorie Taylor Greene and Laura Loomer beef, and talking about the future of independent journalism in America.

As Donald Trump prepares to militarize and forcibly remove poverty and dissent from Washington DC, we need to take a step back and remember the parallels of history. 249 years ago King George III erased checks and balances, kept the laws he liked, wrote a few new ones, rained down tariffs, and otherwise terrorized his people. And we created a new country because of it.

So if you would be so kind, I wrote a little article about the history of this very situation, albeit a few years ago, and why we can take hope from something we already know how to do, and that is take back our government.

May this story give you peace and hope, and a chance to breathe before we all go out and do this again tomorrow.

A few updates on my research into the Jeffrey Epstein flight lots, specifically to and from the Virgin Islands, and the emphasis and deep focus Epstein had on Virginia (Roberts) Giuffre. Why? What made her stand out? And why was she so prevalent in the logs? This will take some time to figure out, but I’ll go into her story tonight a little more in-depth while I continue to pour over the logs.

Also, as a follow up to the discussion, I went ahead and wrote an article linking Vicki Ward’s 2003 eye-opening article “The Talented Mr. Epstein,” and the NY Times’ Marc Tracy’s article on what she was and wasn’t allowed to publish as a result. I need everyone to be talking about this, because it’s long, detailed, and incredibly predictive.
