  • From Surviving to Thriving in Bali: What Happens When You Finally Stop Abandoning Yourself

Genavieve Joncic has a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She spent five years in research settings studying the brain. She is a breathwork and somatics instructor. And she now lives in Bali — teaching facilitators how to understand the science behind the healing work they do.

But before any of that, she was a girl who grew up in Texas surrounded by close-minded systems and negative influences, who moved to Canada during COVID at 18 completely alone, knowing no one in Toronto, and found herself in depression, anxiety, and toxic relationships that left her disconnected from herself entirely.

The turning point wasn’t a dramatic external event. It was a decision.

She decided she no longer wanted to abandon herself.

Through EMDR, somatic work, breathwork, inner child healing, journaling, meditation, and long periods of solitude — she rebuilt her relationship with herself from the inside out. She didn’t become someone new. She returned to who she was before survival took over.

Now living in Bali, she is building a neuroscience-informed certification for facilitators who want to understand the science behind healing — without needing a five year degree.

This episode bridges everything. The science, the soul, the survival responses, and what it actually takes to finally come home to yourself.

IN THIS EPISODE WE TALK ABOUT

    • Growing up surrounded by negative authority figures and how that shaped her nervous system from childhood

    • Moving to Canada alone at 18 during COVID and the depression and isolation that followed

    • What survival responses actually are — perfectionism, hypervigilance, hyper-independence — and why they look like strengths from the outside

    • The ego death that cracked everything open and sent her searching for something deeper

    • EMDR therapy, inner child work, and what it felt like to reconnect to her body for the first time

    • The meditation where she traced her anxiety back to her mother’s pregnancy — and called her mom to confirm it

    • What healing as a returning looks like — not becoming someone new but remembering who you were

    • Moving from Canada to Australia to Bali and what each move gave her nervous system

    • The dopamine detox that rewired everything

    • Her neuroscience-informed certification for facilitators and what gap it fills

  • Sarah Currle: Why Your Subconscious Is Running 98% of Your Life and How to Finally Take It Back

    ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Sarah Currle tried opera singing. It didn’t work out. So she did what everyone told her to do — got the degree, got the job, added two more jobs on top of it. A 9-5, bartending on weekends, and an online side hustle she was pouring money into with nothing coming back.

Three jobs. Still couldn’t pay her bills.

She tried every strategy. Bought the courses. Ran the Facebook ads. Watched other people’s businesses explode while hers stayed still. And it wasn’t until she found her hypnosis mentor on Facebook — someone talking about money mindset, limiting beliefs, and the subconscious mind — that everything changed.

Within months her income tripled. While the entire world was losing jobs during a global pandemic — opportunities started dropping in her lap. Nothing in her external circumstances had changed. Everything inside had.

Sarah is now a Money Hypnosis Mentor and Subconscious Healing Expert. She has helped clients go from stuck in a 9-5 to founding two companies, receive 15K income increases, and completely rewire their relationship with money, visibility, and self-worth — not through more strategy, but through going underneath it.

This episode is different from anything else I’ve had on this show. Sarah doesn’t just inspire you. She gives you the science, the mechanism, and the actual explanation for why the inner work works. If you’ve been doing everything right and still hitting a wall — this is the episode you’ve been waiting for.

IN THIS EPISODE WE TALK ABOUT

    • Growing up in a household where hard work was praised and wealth was viewed with suspicion — and how that became a subconscious ceiling
    • Why 98% of your mind is running completely below your awareness
    • How beliefs get installed between the ages of 0 and 8 — and why they’re still running the show
    • Why journaling and affirmations alone can’t access the subconscious — and what actually can
    • Self-sabotage explained through homeostasis — why your body pulls you back right before a breakthrough
    • How her income tripled during a pandemic while everyone else was losing jobs
    • What her clients actually look like when they first show up — and what shifts for them
    • The “complete the sentence” tool she gave live on air to find your subconscious blocks
    • Why effort without internal alignment just creates more friction
    • Her message to the person working incredibly hard and still not seeing results

  • Wendy Yuan: How to Leave the Career That Is Destroying You and Build Income on Your Own Terms

    *ABOUT THIS EPISODE**

This is the first UGC creator to sit in this seat — and if you have been wondering whether UGC is a real and sustainable income stream, this episode is going to answer that question.

Wendy Yuan went from a two Michelin star kitchen to making four figures a month as a UGC content creator in three months. No massive following required. No prior brand deals. Just one video, consistency, and a decision to bet on herself.

She breaks down exactly what UGC is, how she landed her first paid campaign, what a realistic income timeline looks like, and how she now offers one on one UGC consulting to help others get started from scratch.

But before we get to the business — we get to the story.

Wendy started playing piano at 3, picked up the cello at 10, and pursued classical music through university in Montreal. During COVID she discovered a love of baking she couldn't ignore, taught herself pastry, and somehow landed a position at a two Michelin star restaurant while watching it earn its second star.

From the outside that sounds like the dream. From the inside it was 14 to 16 hour days, 10 minute staff meals, a nervous system that never got to rest, and a culture so driven by ego she felt completely alone from day one. She wanted to leave after month two. Fear of judgment kept her for three more.

She took a week off. Remembered who she was. And left.

Three months after posting her first video — four figures a month. Building on her own terms. At 23.

If you have been thinking about starting UGC, leaving a career that is costing you everything, or just need proof that betting on yourself actually works — this episode was made for you.

**IN THIS EPISODE WE TALK ABOUT**

    - What UGC actually is and how to start with zero following and zero brand deals

    - How she landed her first paid UGC campaign and what that process looked like

    - Making four figures a month in three months as a brand new creator

    - Going from classical musician to Michelin star kitchen to full time content creator

    - What 14 to 16 hour days with no real breaks does to your nervous system and identity

    - Why the kitchen culture felt like a cult and why she was the only one who couldn't accept it

    - The week off that made her realize she was better than that place

    - Her biggest fear — being the reason for her own failure

    - Building for her future family and how that shifted her entire why

    - Her one on one UGC consulting and how she helps beginners land their first campaign

    **⚠️ CONTENT WARNING**

This episode contains honest conversations about addiction, sobriety, childhood abuse, emotional abuse, and mental health. ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Cameron Seipp is a transformational coach who works with men navigating identity, healing, and life transitions. He spent years navigating addiction, sobriety, childhood abuse, two marriages, and a quiet disconnection from a life that didn't fit.

He got sober. Did the deep inner work. Cut ties with half his family. Left an emotionally abusive marriage. And in the space that opened up — he found his calling.

He now runs The Threshold, a men's retreat in Peru, facilitates a virtual men's circle called HELD, and has published two books — The Masks We Wear and The Father Wound — exploring the unconscious patterns men carry from childhood into adulthood.

This is the first man to sit in this seat. We go into the father wound, the masks men wear, the moment he let himself cry doing a puzzle alone, and what it actually takes for a man to choose himself.

  • Alexia Heath: How to Bet on Yourself When the World Is Still Waiting to See If You Will Make It

    **ABOUT THIS EPISODE**

She had already decided she was leaving. Her job just beat her to it.

Alexia Heath was let go from her corporate marketing role on a random Friday afternoon — no warning, no severance, accounts already locked by the time she got back to her desk. The next morning at 4am she was hosting her final ski trip. The week after that she was on a plane to France.

Alexia started Young and Stamped, her group travel company for young adults, during her senior year of college because she noticed a gap — young people who wanted to explore the world but didn't want to do it alone. She spent a year and a half balancing a 9-5 with building her company on the side, already mentally done with corporate long before they let her go.

She took the firing as the green light she had been waiting for.

Since then she has launched Avari Travels, a custom travel planning agency, and AH Social Media, a content creation and strategy house — building three companies at once, in real time, for everyone on TikTok to watch.

This conversation is one of the most honest ones I've had on the show about what it actually feels like to bet on yourself when you are the only one responsible for the outcome. The loneliness, the comparison, the fear of being the reason for your own failure — and why she refuses to believe in embarrassment.

If you have been sitting on something and waiting for a sign — this might be it.

    ---

**IN THIS EPISODE WE TALK ABOUT**

    - Balancing a full time corporate job with building a travel company on the side

    - The exact moment she got fired and what the days right after looked like

    - Why she calls corporate life a prison that is marketed very well

    - Her biggest fear — being the reason for her own failure

    - Building in public on TikTok and why visibility raises the stakes

    - The loneliness of entrepreneurship nobody warns you about

    - Why going viral means nothing if it doesn't build your community

    - What a real week looks like running three companies alone

    - Her mindset on embarrassment — and why she doesn't believe in it

    - Her message to anyone who just got fired, laid off, or let go

  • Kate Burke: How to Stop Abandoning Yourself in Love, Healing, and Life

    SHOW NOTES — EPISODE 8

    ⚠️ CONTENT WARNING

This episode contains honest conversations about chronic illness, mental health diagnoses, difficult relationships, and suicidal ideation. If any of these topics are something you are personally navigating right now — please take care of yourself while listening. Support resources are listed at the bottom of these show notes. You do not have to sit with it alone.

    ABOUT THIS EPISODE

What does it actually look like to heal everything — your body, your mind, your relationships — when the world keeps telling you it isn’t possible?

Katrina Burke spent years navigating eight chronic health conditions, a decade-long situationship before anyone had a word for it, mental health diagnoses, healthcare nightmares, and a dating world that had completely changed the rules without telling anyone.

Nobody could fix her. So she fixed herself.

Through hypnotherapy, nervous system work, human behavioural psychology, and years of personal responsibility work she resolved every chronic health condition she was told she would have forever. She built a coaching practice, wrote four books, and created a mastermind that has helped hundreds of women heal their health, their businesses, and their relationships.

This episode goes somewhere none of my other conversations have gone into modern dating, the gender divide, why men run when things get real, what it means to hold your core values when someone you love shifts on you, and why the most radical thing a woman can do right now is stop abandoning herself.

  • Courtney Davini: From 7 Figures to Bankruptcy to Baby: What Losing It All Actually Teaches You

    EPISODE 3 — SHOW NOTES

From 7 Figures to Bankruptcy to Baby What Losing It All Actually Teaches You — with Courtney Davini

    ABOUT THIS EPISODE

What happens when you build everything you ever wanted and then lose it overnight?

Courtney Davini had the business, the income, the freedom. A 7-figure SaaS company, 16 employees, 76 days of paid vacation a year, and money coming in while she slept. Then one night the website broke, the developer disappeared with the code, and four years of building was gone.

And the day after the bankruptcy hearing was finalized — she found out she was pregnant.

This is not a polished comeback story. This is what the middle actually looked like, the anxiety, the relationship strain, watching savings disappear, letting go of employees who had been with her for eight years. And then choosing to rebuild anyway. Not back to what it was into something that actually fits who she became.

Courtney is now a fractional CMO, marketing strategist, and business coach helping women build profitable businesses that support their lives instead of consuming them. Four years on the other side — she is more grounded, more purposeful, and more clear on what success actually means than she has ever been.

If you are building something and terrified of losing it — this episode is the one you need to hear.

IN THIS EPISODE WE TALK ABOUT

    • Building a 7-figure SaaS business from a studio apartment with a whiteboard and a dream
    • The red flag on her birthday and the moment everything broke overnight
    • Going from $10,000 months to zero the next day
    • What bankruptcy, relationship strain, and identity loss actually feel like at the same time
    • Finding out she was pregnant the day after the bankruptcy hearing
    • How motherhood completely rewired her definition of success
    • Why she stopped chasing balance and started choosing harmony
    • What she wants every woman who is afraid of losing it all to hear

  • Janelle Ciara: How to Keep Going After It Doesn't Work Out and Build Something Entirely Your Own

    ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Janelle Ciara had the salary, the house, the car — at 23. And she still left. What came after wasn't a clean pivot. It was a summer in Ibiza that didn't go to plan, coming home with nothing, and a decision to keep building anyway. Seven years later she is a DJ, a business owner, a content creator, and is currently opening a salon in Phuket, Thailand.

This conversation is about what it actually takes to keep going when your first attempt doesn't work — and what funemployed really means when you're the one living it.

The Ibiza chapter — what didn't work and what it built in her

Seven years of building multiple businesses simultaneously
