The Uncompromised Kingdom w/Ryan Johnson

The Apostle Paul begins Romans 12 with an urging to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice. The question before us now is why Paul would allude to the sacrifices that were under the law. After all, under the law, sacrifices were presented or set before God at the altar, ready to be offered to him. It is Your bodies - your whole selves; are so expressed because under the law the bodies of beasts were offered in sacrifice.

In this recent message, Ryan shares how the fire on the altar served as a constant reminder of God's power. It was a gift from heaven. No other source of fire would be acceptable to God. The fire of God resides within us. It purifies – It helps us to live a holy and righteous life before God. It gives us zeal, passion, and a love for things of God. It helps us to surrender to God's will for our lives.

The Skit Guys are Tommy Woodard and Eddie James — best friends since high school. They fell in love with acting in their school's theater productions and had a knack for making people laugh. When Tommy invited Eddie to church, everything changed. With encouragement and guidance from their youth pastor, the guys started to write and perform skits for their youth group. No longer was it just about making people laugh — their skits now had a bigger purpose.

Since then, they've been writing and performing hilarious and poignant skits live and on screen. They starred in their first feature film, FAMILY CAMP, a faith-based family comedy, which was released in theaters across the U.S. on May 13, 2022, and ranked as the No. 1 new family movie during its opening weekend. Tommy and Eddie have traveled the world performing at events, churches, and conferences. They have grown SkitGuys.com into a media resource for pastors with countless videos and scripts that are used in churches all over the world. The Skit Guys also have a web series called Bedtime Bible Stories, their "Laugh More" podcast, and a book on friendship called "Smells Like Bacon," as well as comedy DVDs.

"Have you had enough?" It was just four words, but it was a turning point question in Kelly Lester's life. For 15 years, Kelly had been running from the Lord, desperate to fill the hurting places in her heart with men, drugs, and every other kind of coping mechanism. But after nearly losing her life in a violent domestic fight, Kelly came to a place of surrender to the question God was asking of her. But God, do you know the things I've done? "Yes, Kelly, but if you follow me, I will make beauty from ashes."

Kelly's story is one that covers so many difficult and painful topics in our world today. Child molestation, raped as a teen, several abortions, drug dealing, eating disorders, homosexuality, pornography, prostitution, and even working in the clinic where she had her first abortion. But beauty triumphs from the ashes, and Kelly is a testament to how God can clean all the dirty parts of a painful life story and make it brand new.

Now a wife and mother of six children, Kelly loves to share her story to give hope to the most desperate situations proving that God can save anybody. She is currently a client advocate for LoveLine Ministries, Director of Outreach for And Then There Were None and Pro-Love Ministries, and a board member for Village Ansanm: Living Stones Ministries.
