Mothers have a speciao quality that can only be known as A (m) other) dimension. There is a level of understanding that surpasses the norm. This classic text from Luke's Gospel shows this dimension at work. This Sunday, we will honor mothers and the many women in our lives who nurture our faith and propel us into the life God has for us.

And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. (Rev. 21: 2)The 2010 World Expo is being held in Shanghai, and the event theme is Better City, Better Life, The Expo kicks off on May 1, a perfect theme to connect with this text from Revelation. There has never been a human soul steeped in the human condition who has not longed for a radically new world. With God at the center, such a new world is possible. Are we willing to build a life, a city, around God? Its the only way to better.
