Whenever I heard people leaving the church, I was always baffled, especially when they were “the strong, faithful, stalwart” ones.
Why would anyone leave the most beautiful gift in all the world? How could anyone do it
These were my thoughts….
…no doubt some of you may be thinking the same thing about me.
I considered myself to be one of the strong, faithful, and stalwart ones. I had a desire to be immovable, faithful, and obedient like Nephi and the sons of Heleman.
I bore my testimony often. I used my singing voice to share my deep beliefs. We raised our children with the gospel surrounding us.
I was all in...until I wasn't.

When porn, flirting, and emotional & physical affairs enter your marriage - a marriage where monogamy is part of your vows and where religious beliefs are deeply ingrained and intertwined into every aspect of your life - finding one's footing in this confusing reality is really difficult.
It's never too late to make informed food choices for a healthier you!
It's been over thirty years since I have been on a date with someone other than my ex-husband, children, friends, co-workers, and sisters. In today's episode, I talk about what I loved about being married and why I stayed beyond what was healthier for both of us.
In this episode, Sue explores the topic of dating in this season of her life. Married for thirty years and divorced for four, Sue has yet to explore or jump into the land of dating again.
In this episode, Sue shares her thoughts about the second book in her Confessions of a Cookie Snatcher series, her choice to stand strong and speak confidently in a world that demonizes truth and celebrates mediocrity, and where she defends mediocrity in her own life.
When you find yourself breaking through that next ceiling, it's all too common to fluctuate back and forth between feeling really good and moving forward with confidence AND questioning your decision, which leads to indecision and stagnation.
