There is power in the tongue to speak life and death. How often do we feel that power spoken over ourselves from others? Yet the biggest culprit isn't Satan or others — it is ourselves. We need to unravel the lies that we believe to be set free as the Lord intended.

With just a breath, we received life. This is true and just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many references in the Bible about the power in one breath and the intimacy that the Lord designed in it.

Struggle is a human condition. Physical, spiritual, or mental doesn't matter. These moments are ones that define who we are. Humans have three ways to handle adversity, and Christians need to understand what the Lord's role is in adversity compared to the steps we need to take.

Personal experience tends to color our interpretations of events in our lives. However, there can be no adding to the Gospel and Christ. We have to seek Him without adding our own agenda. Here we look at the consequences of what happens when you start adding to the message of Christ!

How many times do we struggle in our lives when a day feels difficult or things aren't going our way? I start to question if God is still for me or if He has forsaken me. That isn't the case, surely. Let's look into the aspects of God's favor — can you lose it, earn it, and everything between.

One such instance is the importance of the profession of the Christ that He spent 30 years working in and spending time around.

How often do we experience frustration in our walk? The answer is all the time! I struggled with it just recently and went to the Word to understand what it says about it, how to handle it, and God's response to my cries for help.

We look for miracles everywhere. They are one of the most exciting things about being a Christian and a manifestation of God's power in our lives, though they aren't everything. Reset your expectations of God, and you won't be disappointed!

2024 is the year for joy. Joy doesn't mean all smiles and bubbly laughter (nothing ever feels that easy). The Lord has told us that we will struggle, but there is one promise for this year that the enemy doesn't want: an increase in the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life!

There comes a point in our lives as Christians that we make the choice to choose Jesus. It is at this point we step from darkness to light, and transformation happens. When we love the light, others see the change and wonder why. It's because we have touched the depths of darkness (whether depression, anxiety, violence, etc.) and appreciate where the light of the Lord has brought clarity.
