Around Christmas, we hear all about a baby Jesus, mangers, donkeys, stars, and shepherds. Yet there is way more to learn from the same old story. The Bible is the Living Word of God, and this year we are looking at Jesus from a whole different angle. Revelation abounds!

According to Proverbs, God has made the seeing eye, and there are many examples in the Word of His people using their eyes of faith to great effect. How do we see with eyes of faith and use them as they were intended? How might I see that which faith allows?

"Identity in Christ" is such a common Christianese word, and we hear it all the time, but do we even know what it means? I was asking the Lord the same question, and He showed me all of my skills, abilities, successes and failures. None of these things impacts our identity in Christ. We all share the same identity found in Him. Listen as the Lord broke it down so simply that even I could understand!

There is a clear reason why testimony is the strongest weapon in our Christian arsenal—they are living stories of a living God doing amazing things. No stories I tell have quite the same impact nor have the same power even decades later.

I have come a long way but am able to look at the pros and cons of church without finger-pointing and blame-placing. It took healing, but with these two easy steps, we will see the world change.

He intercedes on our behalf, was beaten, bloodied, killed. All this, and yet He is still our best advocate before the throne of God. Will the sacrifices of Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit ever be enough to satisfy me?

I have spent way too much time trying to understand what God is calling me to do and being frustrated at not feeling that I landed on the right answer – until now! Would you believe me if I told you that we all have the same important calling?

We talk about the perks and joys of living forever in Heaven, but do we really contemplate living FOR forever on earth? Meaning, do we strive to build the Kingdom of God here on earth as God charged us to do? Jesus said the Kingdom of God is at hand, let us live that way here and now!

A Kingdom divided falls. So, why do we see other Christians as the enemy? Requirements, hurts, resentments, and more all have to be put away and start seeing each other as we really are – brothers and sisters building the Kingdom together.

There isn't a good time to hide from God. Everything you are searching for is found in God. Searching for peace, strength, hope? Run as fast as you can, because all of it is where God is!
