They say all things must come to an end, but we really only like hearing that when it’s in reference to something negative. I mean, seriously who wants something happy and fun to end? Not me. Still, good or bad, happy or sad, this age-old adage is the wisest statement of the obvious: nothing lasts forever…except for plastic bottles—we can’t seem to figure out what to do with those. I digress. Most of us have a hard time with “The End.” It’s so…final. But sometimes it’s easy to forget that the end of one thing is only the beginning of something else…perhaps something even better. By holding on so tightly, not only do we cause ourselves undo suffering, we unknowingly refuse what the Universe is trying to provide—the next step. In honor of my last show here at WebTalkRadio, our in-house life coach, Pati Root of Root Dynamics is here to talk about this is the very topic. Letting go: the when, the why, and the how. Join us for this very special finale episode of Goddess!

Yes, this is what this week’s episode of Goddess is about—basketball, unicorns, and an up and coming author and motivational speaker who is on his way to changing the world. Only two weeks away from playing professional basketball, Cornell Thomas sustained a career-ending injury that ultimately led him to his true calling—helping people achieve their goals.
He’s here with me to talk about overcoming adversity, the epidemic of apathy amongst America’s children and, of course, his passion for unicorns. Not only is he a man with a powerful message…he’s freaking hilarious!

I love when I can make a show title rhyme. See what I did there? I totally expressed gratitude just now. And that’s what this holiday episode of Goddess all about—giving thanks. Life coach and founder of Root Dynamics, Pati Root, joins us in the studio this week to talk about the life-changing effects of gratitude. Where to find it, how to live with it, and why it should be the first thing you think about when you wake up in the morning!

“I’ve always wanted to write a book!” I hear people say this a lot. Typically when I ask, “What’s stopping you?” I get a shoulder shrug and some excuse about not having the time, the inspiration, or the know-how to get it published. Well, I can’t help you with the first two excuses, but this week on Goddess I can tell you how to tackle the latter. Self-publishing! My editor and friend, Jennifer Ciotta, is here to talk all about the publishing industry today. Not only does she have over a decade’s worth of experience in the field, she’s written a fail safe, how-to guide on self-publishing—cleverly titled, “No Bulls**t Guide to Self-Publishing.” Grab a pen and some paper, fellow writers—you’re going to want to take notes!

Work/life balance—ain’t it a bitch? You focus on your career and your family comes second. Put the family first and you’re neglecting your career. Now that the modern woman is expected to be “Mother of the Year” and a badass in the boardroom, life has become a wobbly balancing act for most of us. But there are some women who snap their way through the plate spinning with grace and an inordinate sense of organization. I’m not one of them of course, but this week on Goddess, I’m getting tips from one. Join me for a relaxed gab session with one of my friends who will share with us how she balances five kids, a husband, a full-time career, a clean house, a fit body—I’d hate her if she wasn’t so cool.

Have you noticed lately that there seems to be a growth in the empowerment of women? Me too. It’s as though a shift in dominance is happening—politically, economically, environmentally—there’s a growing call for us to take charge. I like to think of it as “the rise of the goddess,” but that’s just me; I have a flare for the dramatic.
My guest this week—a goddess in her own right—is Margie Baldock, author of “The Mother Lode Manifesto.” Margie says the world is on the cusp of major change and it’s up to us women to band together and lead it…before it’s too late. Join me on this very important episode of Goddess and learn why buying into the global corruption will only result in catastrophe. Kind of a big deal.

Vampires, they totally exist. They may not have fangs or be as sexy as their Hollywood counterparts, but they’re out there—walking amongst us, draining us of our emotional power. Bosses, partners, the Starbucks barista, we live with these vampires everyday. So how do we protect ourselves from their hypnotizing stare? Dr. Larry M. Jacobson, problem solving expert and author of the up and coming smash hit, “Demystifying Success; How To Get Out Of Your Own Way To Get What You Want, and Why You Must Start Now!” is with us on Goddess this week to tell us how. You’re only a few tips away from learning how to take control of your life—don’t miss it!
