Nl: De zon scheen fel boven de stad.
En: The sun was shining brightly over the city.

Nl: In Amsterdam was het druk en lawaaierig.
En: Amsterdam was crowded and noisy.

Nl: Kinderen lachten.
En: Children were laughing.

Nl: Ballonnen vlogen in de lucht.
En: Balloons were flying in the sky.

Nl: Het was Koningsdag.
En: It was King's Day.

Nl: Tussen de menigte stonden twee vrienden.
En: Among the crowd, there stood two friends.

Nl: Hun namen waren Anna en Daan.
En: Their names were Anna and Daan.

Nl: Ze hadden allebei een grote glimlach op hun gezicht.
En: They both had big smiles on their faces.
