The fallout of being in a relationship filled with betrayal and abuse brings with it a lot of decision making. Decisions about whether to stay or go.  Decisions about the welfare of your children.  Decisions about whether or not to eat rice!....(gotta listen to find out the details, lol)

One of the foundational truths that kept me going...KEEPS me going in the middle of the struggle is knowing this.

I can't always see it, and sometimes it is hard to hold onto the truth.

Looking back, I can see how my pain has been the catalyst for a lot of personal growth, as well as a source of encouragement for other people.

Learning how to accept your limitations so important.  It reminds you that you are Human. It can keep you out of the comparison trap.  It helps steer you away from defining yourself based on your performance.

In light of the trauma of betrayal and abuse, it's no surprise that the Enemy tries to throw all sorts of lies at us.  

Lies about who we are (or aren't), what our situation says about us, and the hopelessness of our future can easily cause us to spiral into depression and fear.

In this episode, I share about how we need to "trade" whatever lie the Enemy has attacked us with, and replace it with the Truth of God's word.

In this episode, we are diving into my B.E.A.U.T.Y. framework.  As I began my recovery journey, a therapist told me; "Sophia, you are going to have to learn to live for an Audience of One."  That statement changed my life.

Listen as I share how I began to not only discover what God said about me and my situation, but was challenged to BELIEVE what He had already spoken over me--living with Him as my focus and not the opinions of other people.
