The Unforgivables

In this final episode of the The Watts Tapes we look into the events following Chris Watts arrest for the murder of his two daughters four-year-old Bella and three-year-old Celeste, as well as his pregnant wife Shan'ann — and unborn son Niko. 

After a brief hiatus due to recent developments, production is back underway. In the 8th chapter of The Watts Tapes we review the FBI interrogation breakthrough that lead to Chris Watts' first confession — But not the last. 

Using the police interrogation audio from Wednesday, August 15th 2018 we breakdown each key moment in the interrogation and discuss the tactics investigators used to get the 'confession'. 

When Chris Watts arrived at the Frederick Police Department on August 15th, 2018 to take his polygraph test — just two days after his families disappearance — he did all he could to keep it together, but it wasn't enough.  

Chris Watts was hiding a dark secret, and the details of this crime would leave everybody involved scarred forever. 

On August 14, 2018 The entire town of Frederick, Colorado was on high alert and searching for Shanann Watts and her two daughters, Bella and Celeste. 

Chris Watts gave multiple news interviews following the disappearance of his family. He stood in front of cameras and played the part, or at least he tried to. 

On the evening of August 14th Chris would visit the Frederick Police Department and sit down with Special Agent Graham Coder, and set in motion the series of events that would ultimately lead to his conviction. 

But it wasn’t the full story — And it wouldn't be his last.

The Questions surrounding the early morning hours of august 13, 2018 still haunts the small town of Frederick, Colorado — as well as the rest of the nation. 

A family vanished, but the how and the why still remain a mystery.

In this episode we will take a closer look into the days following the disappearance of Chris Watts' family. The Police body cam footage provides an insight into this crime that would make anybody question the credibliity — and the motives — of this husband who suddenly "snapped". 

On August 13, 2018 Nichole Atkinson would call Police and tell them she was concerned about her friend Shanann Watts, who was not responding to her calls — and appeared to be missing. 

Little did Nichole know that this call to Police would set in motion a series of events that would leave an entire nation in disbelief — and leave more questions than answers.

The third chapter of The Watts Tapes reviews the weekend leading up to the disappearance of Shanann Watts and her two daughters, Bella & Celeste. 

The weekend of August 10th, 2018 would provide subtle clues that could shed light into the motive behind this crime, and the trail of breadcrumbs would lead back to one person.— At least thats what we've been told.
