The ego is an illusion of the self. How is this illusion propagated? Through a lack of truth, the filtering of your true intentions through your ego. Many people complain of this existential burden, felt as a physical sensation of weight. I'm going to let you in on a little secret...the weight you are feeling is not the physical weight of your body, it's the weight of things not said, truths not told and the presence of a malformed self image created out of deceiving yourself. Communication. How do we find the strength to say what we really feel? How has the internet effected the way we communicate with each other? Difficult questions with justifiably complicated answers. As we become used to the methods of communication the internet provides, a feeling of despair grows with it. That feeling is trying to tell us something. Curious? Me too.
