La’Nyiah Clark aka LaLa went missing from my town last month… it’s been confirmed her remains were found.Â
La'Niyah was last seen leaving her home in South Wilkes-Barre PA on January 17, 2026 . However, it was not until Feb 10th that she was officially reported missing.Â
On Saturday, February 21, human remains were discovered in a wooded area off Thayer Street in Wilkes-Barre. On Tuesday afternoon (Feb 24), District Attorney Sam Sanguedolce confirmed that investigators believe these remains are connected to the case of the missing 15-year-old girl, though they have not yet officially explained the nature of that connection or confirmed the identity through the coroner's office. She was found 3 blocks away from her residence behind a garage- nude- face down. The street she was found in is on Meghans Law.Â
Throughout the day on Tuesday, multiple law enforcement agencies, including investigators in hazmat suits, executed a search warrant at an apartment building located at New Alexander and Charles streets in South Wilkes-Barre. This location is roughly half a mile from where the remains were found.Â
There were rumors her aunt had a protection order refraining her from having contact with LaLa- The local PD made a post a few weeks ago for the community to come forward if they knew of her aunts whereabouts .Â
The community speculated family involvement but nothing has been confirmed - again it’s just speculation and as we know rumors are just that and false accusations or “theories” do not help investigators or the PD or the family; and most of all it doesnt help getting LaLa justice or getting the truth. Â
As of this evening, the District Attorney has stated he cannot yet comment on the specific "nature of the connection" or release a cause of death until the Coroner’s Office completes its examination.
Police and investigators in hazmat suits have converged on an apartment building at the intersection of New Alexander and Charles streets—roughly half a mile from where the body was found. A search warrant was executed at this location on Tuesday. The investigation is extremely active.Â
Authorities have not yet released the cause of death or confirmed the identity of the remains, pending a report from Luzerne County Coroner Dion Fernandes.
If you have any information regarding this case or the apartment on New Alexander Street, authorities urge you to contact:
Wilkes-Barre Police/Detective Mike Dennis: (570) 208-6699
Luzerne County DA’s Detective Division: (570) 825-1674
From the family :Â
“It has been confirmed that La’Niyah “LaLa” Clark was the young woman found on Thayer Street, and we have been informed by police that this was a homicide.
Law enforcement has shared that this is an active investigation and that they are confident they know what happened and that an arrest will be made.
Out of respect for the investigation and for LaLa’s family, we ask for privacy and compassion as we begin to process this devastating news and start to grieve.
Please keep her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. We will share updates when we are able.”
I’ll post updates as they arise since I live right here.Â
My prayers and thoughts are with LaLas friends and family.

First, I want to send my deepest love, strength, and prayers to everyone who knew and loved LaLa — and to LaLa herself. This case has been heartbreaking from the very beginning, and it has weighed heavily on so many of us here in Wilkes‑Barre.
From day one — January 17th, 2026 — I reached out to LaLa’s adoptive mother, Ameerah Woods, and connected her with Jaz Mia from the Missing in America Network. Ameerah completed the missing persons report immediately, and Gabby – Find the Missing helped share LaLa’s information. I want to thank both of them sincerely for stepping in so quickly and wholeheartedly.
LaLa lived only minutes from me. This case hits home in every sense of the word.
Since January 17th, I’ve been in consistent contact with their family friend Candice — the woman who has been speaking on the family’s behalf at protests, at the police station, on livestreams, and at the vigil through LaLa’s Legacy: In Honor of La’Niyah Clark. I want to make it absolutely clear: I have her permission to create these podcast episodes. She has listened to them, approved them, and thanked me for sticking to the facts and keeping the focus on LaLa.
I wasn’t able to attend the vigil or the memorial service, but Candice knows I am here for them in any way they need. She is also fully aware that this episode is raw and real — because it is me reading a 27‑page public affidavit word for word. Many of you asked me to do this. It is public information, and LaLa’s loved ones have shared it themselves because they want the truth to be known in full. As painful, emotional, and triggering as it is, it answers many of the questions the community has been asking.
This affidavit covers the timeline from January 17th, 2026 through April 21st, 2026, and even includes background information going back to Fall 2025. I do give a clear warning in the episode before I read the detailed portions of what happened to LaLa, so please listen at your own discretion.
I want to be very clear:
I would not have created this episode if the affidavit had not been publicly released, if LaLa’s loved ones had not shared it themselves, or if they had asked me not to. Up until yesterday, I had only read the first eight pages. Today, I read the entire document in real time while recording — and my reactions, emotions, and commentary are genuine and unfiltered.
So before anyone messages or comments, please understand:
It is fully appropriate and permitted for me to read and discuss this publicly released affidavit. Â
And I am doing so with the blessing of those closest to LaLa.
Today’s episode takes us back to Wilkes‑Barre, Pennsylvania, where the tragic death of 14‑year‑old La’Niyah “LaLa” Clark shook an entire community, sparked protests, and raised urgent questions about child protection, police response, and family dynamics. LaLa — a deaf teenager described as bold, funny, and full of life — vanished on January 17th, 2026, and was found just over a month later. Her case has led to major criminal charges, public outrage, and a renewed push for justice.
LaLa’s story is one of a vibrant young girl whose life was stolen in an unimaginable way. It is also a story of systemic failures, family betrayal, and a community refusing to let her memory fade. As this case moves toward trial, one thing remains certain: Wilkes‑Barre will not stop demanding answers.

S1/Ep1: “What’s hidden in the dark will eventually come into the light”—or, as I like to call tonight's debut episode: How to fail at multitasking.Â
We are celebrating a truly remarkable feat of human endurance: a man who managed to cheat, lie, manipulate, and neglect his way through a wife and two girlfriends for three years straight, all while pretending to be a busy entrepreneur and doting father. Truly inspirational work. A man who somehow thought he had the bandwidth to manage it all; until he couldn’t. Honestly, you almost have to admire the time management, right up until the part where it all blew up in his face.
We’ll be discussing narcissism, pathological lying, sex addiction, and emotional manipulation. And because he wasn't nearly as clever as he thought he was, this is going to be a multi-part series featuring some surprise guests. How do I know all of this ? Well, plot twist: I was one of the girlfriends!Â
Consider me your resident whistleblower. We’re going to cover "Abuse 101: The No-Bruises Edition" and why women's intuition is never wrong. Come turn the Korner with me—I’ve personally done the field research with three different types of narcissists so you don’t have to. Take notes, keep your eyes open, and remember: being a girl’s girl means if you see someone’s husband acting like a bachelor, you say something.
