Hello hello hello and welcome back to another episode of The Unhinged Smut Book Club, a podcast where besties Morgan and Stevie discuss the most unhinged smut the publishing world has to offer! It’s Morgan’s birthday month (you BETTER say “Happy Birthday” in the comments!! 👊) so we couldn’t let the month pass without reading the newest release by one of her favorite authors. November’s book is Mate by Ali Hazelwood. Here's the breakdown:

• Omegaverse🤝Ovulation🤝Werewolf Cult: Don’t worry, that will make more sense once you’ve read the book. 😉 Serena Paris is orphaned, pack-less, and one of a kind. Coming forward as the first Human-Were hybrid was supposed to heal a centuries-long rift between species. Instead, it made her a target, prey to the ruthless political machinations between Weres, Vampyres, and Humans. With her enemies closing in on her, she has only one option left—if he’ll have her. As Alpha of the Northwest pack, Koen Alexander commands obedience. His authority is so absolute, only a fool would threaten his mate. It doesn’t matter if Serena doesn’t reciprocate his feelings, nothing will stop him from keeping her safe. But power-hungry Vampyres and Weres are not the only threats chasing Serena. Sooner or later, her past is bound to catch up with her—and Koen might be the only thing standing between her and total annihilation…
• Themes/genres: Mate is a riotous, fast paced Omegaverse-ish romantic comedy full of political intrigue and paranormal overlaps set in the real world. Sprinkle in some snark, forced proximity, and a “no touching” rule, and this book will have you laughing, blushing, kicking your feet, and punching the air (patriarchy seems to exist everywhere..)
• Explicit content: We will be chatting about all the naughty bits! What did you expect from The Unhinged Smut Book Club?!

Are you looking for ways to support us? Aww! That's so sweet of you!

• We have a Bookshop.org shop where we earn a small commission on your purchases. Your purchases also help Indie Bookstores! - Shop here!
• Buy us a coffee or leave us a tip with Ko-fi!

Lastly, need to know what is coming up next? Here are our scheduled episodes (Be sure to read ahead if you don’t want to be spoiled!):

• His magical what? - We can’t believe we are about to read and talk about a book with a MMC named Racoon, but someone has to do the hard work around here. Join us to talk about Full Sack by Layla Fae on November 28th.

Need to know what else we have planned? Find our full schedule on our Instagram. You can find us on tiktok at @unhingedsmutbookclub. Don’t forget to rate, review, and subscribe for more juicy

Hello hello hello and welcome back to The Unhinged Smut Book Club, the podcast where we discuss the most unhinged smut the publishing world has to offer.🔥 In this novella episode, it’s getting spooky. The horseman rides seeking some head… We’re covering Hollow by C.M. Nascosta.

In this episode, we’ll be discussing:

• Book Overview and our thoughts: A quick look at the plot before we dive into our likes, dislikes, and other things we noticed!
• Themes: This novella is a 2’fer so there is some range to the themes. We’ve obviously got some paranormal/non human romances, some MMM and MF, lots of sexual content and thoughts, and a little bit of kink. This book has a lot going on.
• Explicit Content: What is the unhinged smut book club without the discussion of the smut?! We’ll be chatting about all the naughty bits! Be prepared for a lot of heat and even more passion (positive and negative!)

Are you looking for ways to support us? Aww! That's so sweet of you!

• Tell your friends! Telling your friends about us is the biggest compliment we can think of!
  • We have a Bookshop.org shop where we earn a small commission on your purchases. Your purchases also help Indie Bookstores! Support your local smut suppliers (aka us) and indie bookshops, too! Shop here!

• Buy us a coffee or leave us a tip with Ko-fi!

Book Recommendations:If you enjoyed this episode or maybe like us, you were wanting something more from this book and needed a jumping off point of what to read next? Here are some things we’d recommend:

• Anything by C.M. Nascosta. The woman can really write the house-down-boots and we think you’d be pleased with anything, but why don’t you try:
  • Morning Glory Milking Farm or Girl’s Weekend
• More ghost romance? Try The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston
• Just want more “different” love interests? Try the Deal with a Demon series by Katee Robert (start with The Dragon’s Bride and then listen to our episode about it!)
• Looking for more monsters and more MM? Try Tentacles & Triathlons by Ashley Bennet

Don’t forget to rate, review, and subscribe for more juicy book talk!
