Since we can't wait for the free market to transfer our nation from a fossil fuel economy to a green energy economy,  big government will be called on to save the planet. I don't deny climate change science, but I do deny the power of government to be the savior. A deal should be made that for every job eliminated, there will be a replacement job.

I am not a climate change denier, but global warming evangelists don't have to make ever single weather event about climate change. The science is enough. Hurricane Dorian arrived at the peak (September) of the annual summer hurricane season. Let me see one in January and then we can talk.

Shocking I know, but I believe we have too many gun laws already. Every mass shooting brings out the "we have to do something" crowd. First, there  needs to be better enforcement of the laws on the books. Second, the courts are not getting convictions on many charged with gun crimes. 

China owns the market when it comes to Ping Pong. All the best players in the world are Chinese. Only Forrest Gump was able to beat them. Oh wait, that was fiction. Beating them in the trade was is fiction also. The English invented the game, but the Chinese stole that intellectual property,

The Department of Education owns the entire Student Loan market today. That is the main reason tuition costs have risen so much. And now there is $1.5 trillion of student loan debt. A generation ago I paid for my entire education. That is not possible today. What can we learn from this?

President Trump can do some good things, but America has learned he can really create some unnecessary chaos. With China trade talks, don't worry, he can't mess this up. It is okay if we never trade with them again. They violate the rules, manipulate their currency, and steal our intellectual properties. 

I think the income tax is immoral, but that will never change now. If you are an adult making minimum wage, it is immoral that the government is taking money out of your check for payroll taxes. If you are middle class and your biggest expense each month is taxes (local, state, federal), that is immoral.

The scandal is government incompetency. The terrible actions surrounding what happened in that prison was most likely business as usual for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. That is the nature of a bureaucracy.

The government has full control over the healthcare and college tuition and loan sectors. That is the main reason costs have risen so dramatically. Oh, to have a little free market for a change.

Democratic seems to carry the idea that people have a say. Most socialistic programs take away any voice of the people. Medicare for all means you have no choices for health insurance.
