Recorded this episode on Monday the 11th October 2021. Marianne Rørholm was a legendary mezzo soprano and voice teacher, who I studied with from 2008-2013. She suddenly past away earlier this month leaving. In this episode I try to explain what she meant to me, and how our relationships with our teachers truly impact us as artists and as human beings. She will be dearly missed.

In this episode we're talking about seeking permission in order to level up. Especially if you've just graduated and you're "on your own" for the first time, making your own decisions. I'm here to remind you that you don't have to seek permission. That you can go out there and chase your ideas. The only one you need permission from is you.

A little hungover today, but I've been wanting to talk about Hamilton the musical for a loooong time. There are SO many elements of being a creative and an artist that we can learn from. Not only has Lin Manuel-Miranda written and composed "Hamilton" - he's also playing the main character. If that's not entrepreneurship and creativity I don't know what is...
