Have you ever felt insecure about your place in God’s Kingdom? Maybe you know someone successful in ministry, or you just pulled out your phone and saw someone leading thousands of people in worship, and it made you feel insecure about your own role in the body of Christ. Well, Pastor Ken wants to encourage you today by reminding you that God has different paths in mind for every person. It may not be your time yet, but God is preparing you right now to do great things for His Kingdom! 

When we read stories about God performing miracles in the Bible, it can be easy to count those miracles as nostalgia. We start to believe that God doesn’t perform miracles today! But in today’s message, Pastor Ken reminds us that the best is yet to come! God’s power hasn’t diminished in the time since the Bible was written, and He hasn’t stopped intervening for those whom He loves! The Bible simply reminds us of what God is capable of and encourages us to get excited for what He will do next.

Many people are nostalgic for the “good old days”. Maybe they preferred the music that was popular back then, or they miss some of the friendships they had in the old days. But Pastor Ken is here to remind you today that you can’t always go back to the way things used to be! The Holy Spirit has been moving through the world for two thousand years now, and His work is too important to be undone! The Church today should be equipped to harvest what is in front of it right now, not what was there in the past.

Sometimes, when we’re reading the Bible, we’ll come across a commandment that we don’t like, and say, “Oh, that passage doesn’t apply to me anymore!” However, Pastor Ken teaches us today that the guidelines outlined in God’s Word are just as relevant to us today as they were years ago. We aren’t just supposed to throw out the Old Testament once we have the New; we are meant to read them in conjunction, and understand from their pages how the Lord wants us to live for and serve Jesus.

If you’ve followed Jesus for a long time, you’ve probably noticed some people who are habitual evildoers. Not only are they openly living in sin, but they are harming others with their evil actions. Well, Pastor Ken teaches you today that God is aware of those who delight in their wickedness, and he reminds you that justice isn’t far away! When God judges the living and the dead, He will separate the good from the bad, casting out all of those who refused His gift of salvation. God will have the final word!

Did you know that God is always watching you? Even in those moments when you are all alone, God doesn’t just see your actions, but He can see the thoughts behind them. And in these last days, He is seeing people fall away from the path of righteousness just as fast as new people are coming to Him. Pastor Ken encourages you to persevere today, even as the world tries to pressure you away from serving God. It may be harder in the short term, but it will be more worth it in the long run!

Have you ever been trusted to run someone’s business for them? You can feel like you’re on top of the world when you’re the one calling the shots, but at the end of the day, you are responsible for making sure things are running smoothly on the owner’s behalf. Well, Pastor Ken reminds us today that everything we own belongs to the Lord. He allows us to use the resources He has entrusted us with, but at the end of time, everything will return to the God who created this very world. 

When you visit another culture, it is important to take some time to understand the customs of that culture, so that you can make sure not to step over any boundaries that may offend your hosts. Pastor Ken reminds you today that as a member of God’s family, there are new expectations that you must learn to uphold. Jesus wants you to reflect His love into this dark world and to show that love to your fellow believers. This is non-negotiable! The fellowship you build will make you stronger against the world’s attacks.

The Torah had strict standards for how the Hebrew people should live, and that included how much they should sacrifice to the Lord. In today’s message, Pastor Ken teaches you about the different sacrifices and tithing customs of the Israelites in the Old Testament, and how giving so much of their resources to the Temple helped them learn to rely on the Lord. God doesn’t want to be the second most important thing in our lives. He wants to be number one, and that begins with where we spend our resources!

In this life, we go through many trials and hardships, and sometimes those experiences can leave us feeling scarred or even hard-hearted. That’s why, in today’s message, Pastor Ken wants you to know that you are never alone. In every moment of trouble, there is One who will never leave you nor forsake you. His name is Jesus Christ, and no matter what you’ve been through, no matter how many times you’ve walked away from Him, it’s never too late to seek Jesus and let Him into your life.
