The UnSafe Bible

Have you ever heard the enemy whispering that you’re still missing something Jesus didn’t give you? Today, Pastor Ken describes how absolutely nothing can rip you out of God’s love in Christ Jesus. Nothing. The One who holds you has already crushed every power that tries to tell you otherwise. Satan wants you chasing peace in a thousand places, but Jesus is the source, and if you have Him, you already have everything you need. If you have Him, you’re not lacking one single thing.

Have you ever looked back at the version of you that first said yes to Jesus? Today, Pastor Ken paints the picture of brand-new believers just weeks after the tribulation, totally on fire but knowing nothing. That’s every single one of us at the starting line. You barely knew the Bible, your motives were mixed with pride, you were clueless about doctrine, yet Jesus grabbed your heart anyway. The same grace that saved you while you were still stumbling over verses is the grace that’s still carrying you now.

The kings of Micah’s day had their flaws. Even if they believed in and followed God, they made mistakes, and some were just downright evil. That’s why the people were hesitant to believe in a Messiah King. They couldn’t wrap their minds around the idea of a perfect ruler. But, as Pastor Ken explains today, that’s exactly who Jesus would be. He’d come to save the world, rule with love, and show people a path that would lead to eternity. And if he was the King of the whole world, then He’d also care for His remnant.

The truth of the Gospel is that Jesus came for all. Every person under the sun is important and special in His eyes. That’s why, as Pastor Ken explains today, Jesus needed to be born in a place where people would not expect; a place that would tell everyone He didn’t come just for the elite and powerful. He came to save everyone because He loves us all equally. Do you feel insignificant or that you live a small life compared to others? There is no such thing in Jesus’ eyes. He came to save you, too!

Over the last few years, sports fans have come up with the term “the GOAT”: the Greatest Of All Time. You may be able to debate with someone about the GOAT of your favorite sport. Names like Tom Brady, Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan, or Serena Williams might come up in these discussions. Today, Pastor Ken reminds us of who the ultimate GOAT is, and there’s no debating this truth. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, He’s your friend, and He’s the perfect King. Have you declared Him the GOAT of your life?

Do you ever feel like you’re missing something? Like you’re in a hamster wheel on the path of life, and every day basically looks the same? Have you found purpose and meaning? In today’s message, Pastor Ken gives you the answer to these questions. Step into a new life with Jesus Christ. It’s as easy as acknowledging that you’re a sinner, that you believe Jesus Christ is your Savior, and that you want His promise of eternity. He’ll do the rest and turn you from who you were to who you are meant to be.

The kings of the Bible were only human. Some of them were good and tried their best, but ultimately failed in some regard. Others were just evil at heart and only looked out for their own interests. The people of Micah’s day had a difficult time believing that the prophesied king would be anything different. But, as Pastor Ken discusses today, they had no idea what was coming. They could not comprehend that Jesus, the King, would be caring, loving, powerful, but also fully God; a perfect ruler for His people.

The Bible is fascinating. For those of us who read it today, much of it is history. We can look at research and see that the historical events discussed in Micah really happened. But for the people of Micah’s day, the prophets were talking about things that would happen in the future. It was difficult for them to understand the prophecies because Micah was predicting something in the future. Today, Pastor Ken discusses some of these historical events and the prophecies surrounding Israel.

One day, there will be a new Jerusalem full of people who worship Jesus as the King of kings. There will be complete and total peace on earth, but elsewhere, countless people who walked away from Jesus will never experience peace again. Today, Pastor Ken teaches that the promises of God are exciting, but it’s important not to look at them selfishly as what you have to look forward to. Share it with others. Give them some insight into what their future holds if they follow Jesus. Show them hope.

There’s no doubt that Jesus can transform hearts and completely change lives. Just take a look at any point in church history over the last 2000 years. I’m sure your life can attest to it as well. In today’s message, Pastor Ken teaches that if Jesus could do it in the past, He can do it in the future. Eventually, when He returns to Earth, everyone will see His glory and just how incredible He is. People who wanted nothing to do with Jesus before will suddenly drop everything to flock to Him.
