In June 2002, the remains of a man was found in Charnock Richard in Chorley, Lancashire. In 2018, he was eventually identified as 24 year old Darren Carley who had disappeared from Swindon in January 2002. He had been murdered but by whom and how he had ended up there is still a mystery.

In September 2010, 23 year old Ricardo Cunha and his girlfriend were at home at their flat in West Norwood, London when a loud bang caught their attention. When Ricardo went to investigate, he was shot and killed. His case has still not been solved today.

In January 2008, Steven Cooper left his home in Golcar in Yorkshire in the early hours of the morning. He didn't take his passport or any money with him. Around a week after, his car was found near Loch Laggan in the Highlands of Scotland with little explanation as to where Steven was. He was never found.
