In the early hours of Saturday 25th of August 1991, a police officer came across an abandoned car on a industrial estate in Penketh in Warrington. He realised that this woman had been attacked and had passed away. This was 42 year old Vera Anderson who was a mother and grandmother. A large investigation ensued to try and figure out who would have committed this awful murder but it is still unsolved.
