Breanna has one of the most amazing stories I've had the chance to interview.  From not being a high school athlete to picking up volleyball and competing at the highest level.  She even transferred because she wanted tougher competition.  During the time that she was just learning how to play she talks about the phrase "the only competition is yourself". This was the first time I had ever heard this in the self love compassion sense.  Hope you enjoy! 

This is one of my favorite hustle stories. From leaving basketball and moving into the real world this is a great story of launching yourself into something new and pushing the social norms to get ahead. We have some great things we talk about but my biggest take away was to always be better than expected.  Enjoy! 

Daniel Wohl sits down and tells us his untold story.  We talk about finishing up school and the process it took to get started on your next passion.  From when Daniel was in Israel finishing up his pro career he was cold emailing people that he admired in what he believed would be his next career space. With talk about networking strategies and that it just goes to show, it always comes down to who you know. 

Louis Weimann was a 3x high school hockey champ and a 2x D3 champ at UMass Dartmouth.  After his playing days were over he jumped into the sales world. 

We talk about how in sales those rejections are tough to deal with. But you've had the chance to lose and lose gracefully through sports. 

Don't ever give up and never quit.  You've been through so many trials, you know how to get there. 

Matt Killen is a former hooper that played at Boston University and Central Missouri. After his playing career ended, Matt started getting into the marketing industry.  

After receiving an MBA he found how hard it was to break into the marketing industry.  He finally got a moment to show the NBA how he worked.  

After that, he was taken on by the NBA as a full time employee! 

We talk about that the worst thing you can do when getting into the real world is indecision.  Just get out there and go for something.

Tyler and I played for the same high school club coach, but you would have thought we had played on the same team. 

Tyler played college basketball at UCSD and then moved in to the sales world.  From selling season tickets for the Padres to taking a journey and leap of faith to pursue his love for sales by moving up to Northern California.  

Tyler talks about not being able to play for the North Carolina or Duke in basketball.  But in sales, he's ready to play for the best. 

Graham Betchart is a great mentor and friend who I owe a lot of my own personal development too. We talk about starting a business. Working in a space where there were no "jobs". And how to take your mind to the next level!

Lauren Link is the author of Athlete to Normal Human which is a guide for the transitioning athlete on nutrition, fitness, and life in general. We talk about her transition from a Purdue soccer to player to developing her career in dietetics and how she got into her current role as Purdue's first full time dietitian.

I sit down with Steven Packard and we talk about growing up playing baseball.  Eventually attending the University of Oregon. And his transition into the real world, where he is currently in the financial service industry with Edward Jones.
