The Lost Boys are finally growing up, Morrow looks like Martin when he fought The Hitman Hearns, Kirsch and Eins get put in their place, and the biggest Boy has been off his meds. In the comments, let us know what them to explore in season two. Will get some reference to the greater franchise, Predator sighting, will the xenomorphs leave the island? Him (2025) dropped and we discuss what we liked, disliked, and were totally confused by when it come to this MonkeyPaw Production joint. Great acting can’t make up for some obvious storytelling shortcomings and visual can’t outweigh the verbal. We also get into some news from Spider-Man Brand New Day, FCC nightmare via Jimmy Kimmel and Disney, and some DC news.

In the penultimate episode of Alien: Earth, we have the emergence of a new chest-burster, Yutani Seal Team 6, what Kirsch’s plan was all along, and what could easily mark the demise of our favorite trillionaire, Boy Kavalier. The odds are clearly not in anyone’s favor, as the Lost Boys all experience their loss of innocence at the same time. In the comments, let us know who’s the bigger menace: Kirsch or Wendy?

These two episodes of Peacemaker are two drastically different pieces of work, that are still aligned with the overall premise of the show so far: will Peaemaker give in to his wants to be loved or his need to deal with his hurt. From a competent Chris getting showered with love in the alt-dimension, to his love (allegedly) dropping a dime on him in the real world. In the words of Paramore, “Ain’t it fun living in the real world,” and Peacemaker has to decide which one will real to him.

In another awesome episode of Alien: Earth, the disrespect is being doled out on many fronts. Wendy is upset, Boy plays with his feet in a meeting, her brother suddenly would like to leave the island, Morrow is whispering to Slightly, toodles to Tootles (Arthur too), and Kirsch is the real threat!

This show toes the line with humor and heart, because there are some incredibly funny bits. Some scenes are very hard to watch, but James Gunn strikes a balance between ridiculous and serious. Peacemaker is still cleaning up from his super fun adult time and altercation with his alternate universal self. The 11th St Gang have the most odd kickback ever. Tim Meadows is still the goat of deadpan comedy!

While episode four is light on action, it’s heavy on plotting, because everyone is trying to jockey for position. The Lost Boys are simultaneously finding their way and losing their minds. Boy Kavalier and Morrow have one terrible thing in common. Meanwhile, Kirsch is probably the smartest and most clever being on this show.

The premiere of Peacemaker Season 2 did it’s best “The Boys” impression, while showing us the crew is (or not) handling the ramifications of how season one concluded. Peacemaker aka Chris Smith can only handle his brokenness is by ostensibly cosplaying as himself.

Episode 3 of Alien: Earth pulls back and explains what’s happening to the best character on the show, Morrow. Boy Kavalier is upping the creep factor, we have our first inkling of a sibling rivalry and the adults on the show (Kirsch included) voices are not being fully heard. Oh yeah, we get a Yutani update from Yutani herself.
