I have had the pleasure of working closely with Anschi Sailer for nearly 15 years. Throughout that time, she has made extensive use of profilingvalues and has also integrated it into her latest project, which addresses a challenge that is becoming increasingly relevant in today’s working world.
Her focus is on leaders who experience burnout, struggle with depression, or have lost their sense of purpose and meaning. In many cases, the roots of these challenges can be traced back to a lack of guidance and support from the very beginning of their leadership journey. Even today, it is still common for people to be promoted into leadership positions only to find themselves increasingly isolated and left to navigate the challenges on their own.
To address this issue, Anschi has developed a dedicated year-long program designed to support leaders in reconnecting with themselves, discovering their inner strengths, and developing a healthier and more sustainable approach to leadership. Elements of this program are also shared through a series of concise podcast episodes, which naturally became part of our conversation.
We also explore Anschi’s professional roots in sales and discuss the essential lessons that can be learned from this field—not only for business success but for life in general. Along the way, our discussion touches on philosophical questions about meaning, personal growth, self-awareness, and the importance of recognizing the good within ourselves and others.
An inspiring conversation about leadership, purpose, resilience, and the lifelong journey of becoming more fully human.
